1-11-2024 FARM ANIMALS 🐄🐕🐑🐖🪿
The cut and paste activity of the farm animals today helps the children with their hand-eye coordination. Most were in the right place and up the correct way :)

31-10-2024 West Eyreton School Agricultural Day
Today was a fabulous day with the children enjoying having Cust school join them for Agricultural Day. It was an opportunity to bring their pets along, home baking, art work and scarecrows for judging. There was also face painting, fun bikes and the painting of some plaster of Paris figurines.

25-10-2024 Animals in the jungle 🐵🦛🐅🐘
The children at The Oaks Preschool love animals so today the theme was 'animals in the jungle'. 1st they glued on their chosen animals and with a stencil and paint created the jungle.

It was the beginning of 4th term craft classes today at The Oaks Preschool in Rangiora. The children become mechanic's today and did a great job by gluing and sticking their buses together.

With a lot of prework done the children glued together their teddy bears, then added eyes, mouth etc. A nice simple craft to finish the term on and looking forward to making more cool crafts next term

Another fun day today at The Oaks Preschool in Rangiroa with the children making their own octopus. Don't they look cute 🐙

Children love painting so that's what we did today but with a cotton bud as the paint brush. Each child produced an amazing scarecrow :)

26-7-2024 SPIDERS 🕷🕷
1st Friday back for the 3rd term and some very excited children.
With the spiders today the children glued on the pre cut pieces to the picture, added eyes and a sun that they stamped out.

5-7-2024 CATS AND DOGS PLACEMATS

Friday craft class at the Rangiora Oaks Preschool today the children made a placemat for their Cat or Dog. Once completed I laminated them so they were able to be used.

21-6-2024 MATARIKI 🔭🎇⭐️
Today was all about the stars so the children chose a gold or white star and then coloured in all the smaller stars on them. They can now hang them in the class room or take home. Happy Matariki everyone for Friday 28th June.

At preschool today the children used their cutting and pasting skills. Some of the shapes were tricky but with some encouragement they did it.
