β€οΈ Kia ora and welcome! A big thank you to everyone who's recently followed my Lady D page. I thought I'd introduce myself properly...
π΅ Record collector for over 30 years (yes, I'm slightly addicted to vinyl!).
π§ Vinyl DJ with 26 years' experience playing soul, funk, reggae, chill-out, downtempo and liquid DnB.
ποΈ Digital DJ for the past 4 years, mixing mostly house music (nu-disco, afro and funky house), liquid DnB and my usual soulful, funky vibes. You can find some mixes here: https://soundcloud.com/debz-cracknell
π€ DJ tutor β I've taught many people how to mix and have run DJ workshops for women at the WEE TREAT weekends ππΌ https://www.facebook.com/weetreat
π» NEW Sunday Resident DJ at Emerson's Brewery, curating the soundtrack for the Sunday Roast Sessions from 12β4pm most weekends. Think laid-back vinyl, good food, great beer, and music that brings people together.
πΆ By day I'm a mental health nurse educator, and I'm fascinated by the way music supports wellbeing, connection and emotional health.
β―οΈ In recent years I've also discovered the world of sound healing, which has had a really positive impact on my own wellbeing. I'm slowly building a collection of instruments and looking forward to exploring this side of music even more.
π My page is where I'll share what I'm playing, records I love, mixes, gigs, and anything else that inspires me musically.
π Available for bookings! I'm peachy keen for private parties, corporate events, wellness retreats and community gatherings. If you're looking for someone to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a carefully curated soundtrack, I'd love to chat.

ππΌ Thanks for being here. Feel free to say hello, tell me what music you love, or come and see me on a Sunday at Emerson's! ππΆ
