It was an honour to once again be involved with The Cancer Society of New Zealand Relay for Life, which took place at the University of Otago this year.

We provided all the lighting for the event which took place over the 25th and 26th of March, including the special bulbs for the remembrance candle bags 💜🕯️

Better (fashionably) late than never!

It was great to be back at the Dunedin Railway Station for the iD Dunedin Fashion Week show 31st March / 1st April 2023.

Considering we used 185 lights on the catwalk alone, Southern Lights are proud to say that every light used in i.D was an LED, meaning they are way more environmentally friendly as they use much lower power consumption (about 1/13th).

We also built the longest catwalk in the Southern Hemisphere (115 metres), which took roughly 7 minutes for a model to lap, and around 4 hours to clean (by steam-mop and hand) in between shows!
