New date and location for the final round of the Dirt Sprint series.
Sunday 26th November at Corsons farm, 981 Whitecliffs Rd, Whitecliffs

UPDATE - Dirt Sprint Series - final round
Due to the long range forecast we have made the decision to move the event to the Corsons Property, 981 Whitecliffs Rd, Whitecliffs with a change to Sunday 26th November. This will be a new course over rolling farmland with no farm tracks. Come along for the prizegiving and BBQ.

Trust us Gummy Tyres DO NOT work on green grass and brown top!
Mousse best option , new heavy duty tubes, there is a lot of growth on the hills this year those little rock grenades going to love giving you hidden hits
A battery that is reliable there’s a high chance of needing it quite often (hopefully your thumb is fit!)
What tools would you have in your bag? as long as they cover every thing that is on handle bars you should be covered, and if your running tubes possibly enough to swap out the rear.
HYDRATION PACK, minimum 1.5ltr however 3 litre would serve you well (or top up at base if your planning on doing multiple laps, you are going to be baking under a very hot dry sun on a clear day it can get to 30 degrees on the hill (unless it rains!), similar to a sausage in a weber no water and well we know what happens to the sausage when it’s in there to long …its ……..

TOPO NZ IS WHAT HAS BEEN USED TO GPS THE COURSE AND WORKS WELL ON AN IPHONE FITTED TO THE HANDLE BARS. (OR TAPE AND OLD PHONE TO THE SPEEDO ETC) BUT IF YOU HAVE A PERSONAL PREFERENCE.

SILVER
You’ll be taking on 6 Sections cooked up just for you while transiting along bronze in between.
Technical uphill’s, steep technical downhills, your feet will be well hydrated that’s for sure those creeks are still running high, there is some reprieve from that sun in there though.
O by the way “ Precision Hill” it features for silver as a 7th optional section, while not a requirement it may add a significant amount of time so beware… it broke a few gold riders last year.
If you give it a crack and are the first one to the top there’ll, be a BETA flag you need to stash in your bag, when you wave it at prize giving, you’ll have earned the bargain rights and possibly a prize….

BRONZE
You have a course set out with a focus on technical riding with some fun hills and scenic descents you get you fair share of challenges though there some areas that are going to look like there was never any grass there in the first place
