Some of you may have met Greer at the markets around Dunedin or Mosgiel or even a local birthday party. She's a pretty shy 13 year old who has been balloon twisting since she was 10. She loves balloon twisting and making kids smile, so if you're heading to the South Dunedin Street Festival this Saturday, keep an eye out for her - she'll be outside Mama Bears Artisan Alley store at 177 King Edward Street.

It's been awhile since Greer has worked her magic fingers on balloon creations but after three and a half months in a finger splint, she is pumped to be working this Saturday as part of the South Dunedin Street Festival.

Greer has been given permission to work right outside the gorgeous store Mama Bears Artisan Alley at 177 King Edward Street, so look out for her! It's going to be busy with so many people but how great to be able to celebrate the diversity of South Dunedin and support local while you're there😍🤩🥳

Hope to see you out in South Dunedin this Saturday from 10am onwards 🎈

Ordered by her lovely friend Vicky, this bunch of 6 colourful tulips made their way to recipient Christine Su, in time for her Graduation today.

Greer needed help with this lot since her finger is broken but we got there! Great way to end the year.

✨✨Well that is a wrap for 2023 for Greer and her balloon twisting business. She is taking a well deserved break over summer and had to wrap up a bit earlier due to her ongoing healing of the mallet finger (correct term for her broken finger!).

Thank you to all the lovely customers both at markets and parties, and the organisers of markets who are always encouraging.

You will see Greer back in action hopefully in February 2024 with lots more balloon creations added to her repetoire! 🎈😍🎈

Sunday Nov 26th will be a great day to do all your🎄Christmas🎄 shopping. From 9am - 5pm the Edgar Centre will be buzzing with stallholders, customers, entertainment and of course a great range of food.

So special for Greer to be a part of this event for such an amazing organisation run by good people doing wonderful work out in the community 🥰🎈

THANK YOU! to all of our incredible Dunedin crafters for your amazing efforts in making a grand total of 532 Tiny Teddies!!!! 🧸🧸🧸 We have been overwhelmed with the support from the community with this project. Each of these beautiful bears will be going home with a NICU baby, 500 of which graduate through Dunedin’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit each year.
The Teddy Bears Picnic Event would not have been a success without the following vendors, so special thanks for donating your precious time over the weekend and helping us put smiles on a whole lot of faces!
