Well she's back!!! After what was a pretty wicked winter filled with illness and sporting injuries, Greer our not so little balloon twister is back!! She already has quite a chocka calendar leading up to Christmas but the first of many is next weekend's Wingatui Growers and Artisan Crafters Market!!

This market is really how it all started for Greer when she was 9!! Actually she just turned 10 days before the market and the amazing Kayt Harris event organiser and market owner of Wingatui Market, gave Greer a shot. She could only twist a few creations and customers were so kind. Some put money on her table just because she was this little girl running her own little business.

As she's got older though, school, sport and family life has taken more of a priority over work but that's all good stuff. Which brings us to now and you'll get to see her in action next Sunday 17th of November (the day before her 14th birthday 🎈🥰🎂 Come say hi, it's going to be a fantastic day for everyone!!!

This awesome event spread over three malls and three days is on this long weekend!! Greer has the privilege of working at her little stall in the Meridian Mall Dunedin on the Monday ONLY but make sure you go and support local stallholders as well as local shop owners.

Some of you may have met Greer at the markets around Dunedin or Mosgiel or even a local birthday party. She's a pretty shy 13 year old who has been balloon twisting since she was 10. She loves balloon twisting and making kids smile, so if you're heading to the South Dunedin Street Festival this Saturday, keep an eye out for her - she'll be outside Mama Bears Artisan Alley store at 177 King Edward Street.

It's been awhile since Greer has worked her magic fingers on balloon creations but after three and a half months in a finger splint, she is pumped to be working this Saturday as part of the South Dunedin Street Festival.

Greer has been given permission to work right outside the gorgeous store Mama Bears Artisan Alley at 177 King Edward Street, so look out for her! It's going to be busy with so many people but how great to be able to celebrate the diversity of South Dunedin and support local while you're there😍🤩🥳
