Taieri Musical 2024 showcasing Footloose is out now!

Gravity is providing the goods with our 3.9mm LED screen showcasing impressionable imagery; Lighting design accurately detailing the production, including use of our new Chauvet Maverick force S profiles which include framing shutters to highlight the best aspects of the amazing set. This along with quality sound through the use of our Adamson audio system and much more!

Dunedin’s Midwinter Carnival is always a highlight on the calendar every year. Our team were thrilled to be back for another year, once again providing all things production; from sound & lighting, to projection & theming. We even got our brand new LED dance floor out, which looked stunning in Burns hall.

Once again, a huge shout out to the awesome team at Midwinter Carnival for another awesome community event in Ōtepoti Dunedin!

Gravity brought the party and Love Island - After Dark at the brought all the drama 💁‍♀️💁💁‍♂️

We had a raging good time at “Love Island - After Dark” a few weeks ago. Featuring our Photobooth, photographers, DJ, lighting, light up dancefloor and let’s not forget each hottie made an entrance through projected hearts on the entrance to the party.

Turns out all you need is love… and a good party 😜

The 2022 Bidfood Awards Night was a highlight in the Gravity calendar this year with the Dunedin Public Art Gallery as the canvas.

We supplied an 8x2m LED screen with custom content and projected historical images from the history of Dunedin from Toitῡ Otago Settlers Museum and the DCC Archives onto the walls of the Art Gallery with a Panasonic 12k laser projector. Our Astera AX1 tubes and battery LED uplights helped to add a little extra pizazz.

Special shoutout to Becky, Encore Events, Precinct Catering, Estelle Flowers and Doug Kamo for all of their work to pull the night together!

The immersive experience ✨

Check out our LED screens used earlier in July for the New Zealand International Science Festival’s CODE Virtual Reality and Gaming Centre that popped up in the Meridian mall for the New Zealand International Science Festival Nanofestival 2022. A total immersive experience, this pop up included using the latest virtual reality technology to bring all the fun to the school holidays!

God loves Rock n Roll and the DKCM Rock Tenors made us fall in love with all our favourite rock anthems all over again 🤘

It was music to our ears with Gravity’s very own sound tech superstar Tom Acklin mixing and providing sound for the show. Shout out to Doug Kamo Creative Management for a great show and to Errol Head Ahead Solutions for his lighting design.

Our crew have been busy touring with as they return for their Nationwide 21st Anniversary Tour.

Providing audio with our Midas Consoles with Pro Series Digital Snakes and Lighting, our team have been constantly adapting to different venues and different spaces throughout the South Island. Finishing up their last show in the South Island a few weeks ago our Gravity Events Nelson crew have enjoyed rocking with the band.
