🎉 What a whirlwind few weeks it's been for ForumPoint2 Conference Partners. The team have been managing back-to-back conferences throughout June, and their energy has been incredible!

🙏 Last week, we finally had a chance to come together as a team for a much-needed celebration and debrief at the fabulous Woodlands Garden Grove Cafe & Bar. The hospitality, atmosphere, and delectable food was amazing!

Our clients range from medical, research, educational, engineering, and corporate groups. We partner with our clients to manage conferences all over New Zealand.
The person we are seeking:
Being a genuine team member is the most important aspect of this position. Our amazing team work incredibly hard and are 100% committed to making every conference an outstanding success. We need someone that will share in this passion; will interact and support the team wherever needed; and will contribute to our positive culture. Importantly we need someone who can “hit the ground running”, and therefore require someone who has a minimum of 2 years solid Conference Coordination experience with a Professional Conference Organisation or similar.
In a perfect world our successful candidate will also have:
• Client liaison experience
• Very strong communication skills – both written and verbal
• Amazing ability to focus, multi-task, and prioritise
• An incredibly organized and unflappable nature
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Impeccable phone manners
• Initiative to assist other team members and clients
• Ideally some knowledge of events management software EventsAir, also a willingness to learn new software packages, policies, and procedures
• Solid all-round computer skills and administration experience
• Must be available to work on-site during conferences – these normally range from 3-5 days and can be anywhere throughout New Zealand
• Full current NZ drivers’ licence
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
• A wicked sense of humour to cope with the existing personnel
• Team spirit, flexibility and a positive attitude are absolutely vital in this role
This is a fixed term contract until early December 2021. There is a non-negotiable requirement to travel for several days at a time and work extended hours on-site during conferences.
Please note that this role will be a work-from-home role for the foreseeable future so you must have the willingness and self-discipline to be able to work from home albeit with regular virtual communication and regular coffee meetings with other team members.
Of course, training would be provided in the software packages unique to this industry. Commencement date would ideally be late May 2021. That's up to $16,000 directly to businesses to take on or keep on their apprentices, paid out over the first two years of training.
