Photo booths 📸 are such a fun addition to any party or event. Your guests - young or old will flock to have photos together with their friends and family, pulling funny faces or taking glam shots.

This is such a cool and simple idea 💡 that you could create yourself for a Christmas🎄 party for the kids or for the big family Christmas! The wooden backing could be old used wooden pallets which you can pick up for free or you could always use wood-look wallpaper, and the trees🎄 and snow ❄️ could be cut from heavy hard and painted🎨🖌️. The letters could be cut from stickers or paper - or you could even substitute them with foil balloons!

Maximise your time by doing as much pre-party setting up as you can!

I can't recommend this enough! Decorate your space (if you are using balloons🎈 especially helium these will have to wait until the day of the party), setup the tables, move any furniture you need to. Do as much as you can before the day of the party - it will take away so much of your stress and anxiety 😰 on the day! Do the finishing touches on the day of the party, leaving you with heaps of time to focus on the food and drink preparations 😊

It's a wrap! I've been taking advantage of the last few days that the kids are in school to get all the Christmas gifts wrapped 🎁 and ready to be put under the Christmas tree🎄

A Gingerbread House Party🏠 is the perfect Christmas party theme for kids of all ages and has to be one of my most fun parties I have styled 😍 It kept them all busy and entertained for the entire party 🥳 The kids all chattered amongst themselves while nibbling (well maybe a little more than just nibbling 😂) on candy 🍬 and decorating their own gingerbread house 🏠

I setup the table with their own little place setting of an already constructed gingerbread house 🏠 on a heavy cardboard base (these are store brought houses which I constructed before the party) and little red and white striped paper cupcake cases with selections of different candies 🍬 to decorate the house. I found some small squeezy bottles at the local dollar store which I filled with icing to make it easier (and less messy!) for them to use when 'gluing' the candy to the house. Each little guest had their own little cooking apron 🧑🏻‍🍳 which I made especially for this party.

With all the decorating and copious amounts of candy 🍬 to eat, I create a small snack bar to help balance out all the candy being eaten. We had cute little milk bottles filled with strawberry milk along with some fresh berries🍇🫐🍓, ginger kisses, snack sized jelly cups and caramel lousie slice.

I kept the decorations quite minimal as I wanted the gingerbread house decorating setup to be the main focus. I used a few red honeycomb balls on the floor by the snack bar and placed a few Christmas decorations around to give it the real Christmassy feel 🎄

Coming up with a cool party take home gift can be challenging not to mention costly💰💰

These super cute 😍 and fun Christmas crafts using miniature terracotta pots could double as both an activity at the party as well as a take home gift 😉 - and the best part is it can be an activity for both boys and girls 😎

Setup a crafting station with some miniature terracotta pots, hot glue guns, paints and some embellishments (all which you could get from your local dollar store) and let the kids creative imaginations run wild 🤩 Before they leave pop some Christmas lollies 🍬for a treat when they get home.

A super fun party 🥳 to host for the kids as Christmas draws closer and school is almost out for the year!

Decorate your party with Christmas trees 🎄, artificial snow ❄️ (I love using this stuff 😍), Christmas Nutcrackers, Christmas Fairies🧚🏻‍♀️, baubles and any other fun Christmas decorations you have at home. I chose to keep to a Red and White Christmas Wonderland theme for this party and made the miniature Christmas tree🎄 my main focal point of the table.

Ask each guest to bring along a plate of decorated homemade cookies 🍪 for sharing and eating at the party (other treats supplied by the party host) and another plate of cookies 🍪 to share amongst your friends to take home which they can share with their family.

As you can imagine the kids are in heaven 🤩 with all the different cookies to choose from and eat till their tummies are ready to pop!

I'm excited to share with you the full Rapunzel party 🏰👑

As you can tell I'm still loving 😍 the fairytale themes - I love the classic feel and the ability to create every little girls 👧🏻 dream to make them a princess - even if its only for a day! And what little girl doesn't want to be a princess 👸 as some stage in their childhood?

I've built the Rapunzel theme around lots of pink, purple, long blonde plated hair and the woodland creatures 🐰🪵 to bring the theme alive.

For this party I also created activity stations for the party guests to keep them busy, I will share these in another post🎨🖌️

I love💕 fairytale themed parties! You can be so creative and use the decor and colour palette to really create that fantasy world.

With the Princess & the Pea theme I created a beautiful princess bed which they could all sit around and eat yummy treats. I went with a lime green of the pea and of course the hot pink to represent all things princess👸🏻

Every little boy loves a superhero party and almost always at some time in his childhood will have a superhero birthday party🦸‍♂

With this party I chose to incorporate three of the most recognised Avenger characters. I wanted to keep it bright and fun with a colour palette of lime green, turquoise and yellow. The backdrop, bunting and the bold letters used on the table helped to give the comic book feel.

The birthday cake 🎂 was the true focal point of the party and was absolutely perfect 😍
