Last week the Happy Hire crew all got together for our first national gathering.
3 days of fun, learning, challenges, laughing, and problem-solving and some friendly competition.
On our final night together we all celebrated with the official Happy Hire awards. Check out the amazing time we had.
Of course, the night wouldn't be complete without hosting inside one of our very own marquees.

Opening only 1 year ago, we are looking to add another full-time permanent person to our tight-knit team.
Happy Hire is New Zealand’s leading marquee and event hire specialist, from marquees to furniture, disco lights to bouncy castles we have your event covered. Our busy business services Birthdays, Weddings, Corporate, Community Events, Festivals, and Racing Events throughout all of New Zealand!
The role:
In this hands-on role, you will be carrying out the set up and dismantle of marquees for events across the Waikato. As well as assisting with the smooth operation of inwards/outwards goods at our base. This is a busy and varied position, carrying out a varied range of duties including;
Setting up and Dismantling of marquees (full training provided)
Picking and Loading metalwork and marquee componentry
Assisting with party and event hire set ups
Delivery and Collection of bookings
Picking and Preparing products for weekly bookings
Ensuring excellent service to customers
What we’re looking for:
Proficient Level of Physical Fitness, being able to lift 30kgs
Full license, able to drive manual, Forklift license and driving trailer is a bonus
Awesome Attitude and Enthusiasm
Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
Willingness to Learn and Grow
Are dependable, punctual, and reliable to get the job done
Want to contribute and be part of an awesome team doing epic things
Self Motivated and Independent
Overall great character and up for a laugh
