It’s almost time for the All Whites!
Please read the following information so you are prepared for an epic night of football! Here’s everything you need to know for tonight's FIFA World Cup 26™ Qualifier games 🙌

Here are some important need-to-knows:
🎫 The Gate 1 ticket booth will be open from 3pm.

💳 Food & Beverage concessions will be open within the stadium (view vendors below). Please note that all concessions will be cashless so come prepared with Eftpos, PayWave, and Apple Pay.

🔑 Gates open at 3:00pm
‼ Please note that there will be no ‘pass outs’ for this event. Once you are inside the venue you cannot exit and re-enter.

⚽ Samoa v Tahiti kick-off is at 4:00pm
⚽ All Whites v Vanuatu kick-off is at 7:30pm

🚧 A series of streets around FMG Stadium Waikato will be closed for these matches between 2pm and 11pm: Seddon Road (from Goldsmith Street to Mill Street) & Tristram Street (from Abbotsford Street to Mill Street).

☔ We advise all attendees to come prepared for weather! Be sure to pack a rain jacket/poncho. Umbrellas are permitted however for the comfort and safety of others they cannot be raised inside the Stadium, including the seating area.

We love a win on the weekend!

Huge congratulations to our Waitomo Group: Waikato Women their Farah Palmer Cup Final win at FMG Stadium Waikato on Saturday 🎉 It was an absolute thriller of a game and we’re so proud of our Waikato Rugby waahine toa for taking home the FPC title for 2024 🏆

The action continued on Sunday with three back-to-back NZ Secondary Schools Rugby games with our NZ Schools, U18 Barbarians and NZ Maaori U18 teams! It was great to see some fierce battles and the next generation of rugby take the field 👏

All eyes on our Mooloo Men this weekend as they take on Taranaki in New Plymouth 💪

It was a big weekend for Waikato Rugby!

Heartbreak at home in the 80th minute for our Waikato NPC and a win in Whangarei for our Waitomo Group Waikato FPC.

The competition continues this weekend with an FPC semi-final at home on Saturday, 28 September and our Mooloo Men are off to Invercargill on Sunday, 29 September.

We'd like to share with you two very significant taonga, Nga Tapuwae Ki Te Ao Marama and the Whatanoa Gateway.

The first structure of its kind to be erected in any New Zealand sporting stadium back in 2004, the Whatanoa Gateway symbolises the passion, determination, and dedication of ancient Maaori warriors and modern-day sports players. By passing under the Whatanoa Gateway when you enter our venue, you are showing your support and commitment to your team, sport, province, and Aotearoa.

Players at FMG Stadium Waikato pass through Nga Tapuwae Ki Te Ao Marama, meaning Sacred Footsteps into the World of Light when entering and exiting the field. This carved entrance represents ancient Maaori deities symbolising the main four winds and the essence of man and woman. The carved figure and patterns denote the journeys and qualities of participants who represent the Waikato province and the nation. The carvings are often touched by players as they run out on to the field to draw strength from their ancestors and from those players who have competed on this ground before them.

Awesome to have the Waikato wins continue at home 🙌

Our under 19s took a win against North Harbour followed by our Waikato NPC securing a 50 – 5 win against the Hawkes Bay Magpies last night!
