Truth is, I get so caught up with custom orders (which I LOVE doing), that sometimes I don’t get a chance to create and upload premade pieces… and not gonna lie, it stresses me out a little! 😅

It's almost Matariki!!

Here are a few snapshots I took a few days ago, of a piece I made for The Base Shopping Centre here in Hamilton back in 2021.

They display this piece every year at Matariki at the information desk. Have you seen this arrangement in person yet?

Kia ora e te whanau and a Happy New Year to all!

I know we are at the end of the first month of 2025 already but next week will be my official week back at work after crushing and breaking my thumb 8 weeks ago. (pic in the comments) As you can imagine, it was nearly impossible for me to put bouquets together and I certainly couldn't weave any flowers during this time :(

I still have some pain in the left side of my thumb at the joint and can't yet put too much pressure on it so I'll only be at 50% working capacity for the next 2 weeks...I have, and still am working my way through emails, messages etc. and doing some behind the scenes stuff on the website.

The photo attached is of a bouquet I put together this week with the help of my daughter, this one took me 3 times longer to make because my thumb isn't up to scratch yet but I got there!

At the moment I am not taking on any custom orders due to being unable to weave, but I do still have ready made flowers in stock that I will be slowly putting together and loading up on the website over the coming weeks.

I thank you to all of you lovelies who have been super patient while I've been injured and I am looking forward to being back at 100% really soon!

I've spent some time this week slowly uploading new products to the website, but a chunk of them have already sold before I could tell you guys, so sorry!

There's new stuff on the website, stuff on sale and more stuff being added as we speak, unfortunately things are getting snapped up pretty quick but I will do my best to keep creating (with my broken thumb) and getting pretties uploaded as fast as I can!

My apprentice in training 🥰 she's done a pretty good job for her first day.

I am training her to do some of the Artiflax staples but will also allow her some creative license so that she brings a new style to the Artiflax whanau.

A few of her creations will be at the Esplanade Pop Up Market THIS Saturday!

FINALLY ITS HERE!!!!! WE HAVE Afterpay NZ!!!!!!!!

Its been a long time coming but we have finally got Afterpay on the website. And while I've been recovering these last few weeks, I've also had some time to sort out the categories on the website, hoping this will make things easier to find. HAAAALP!! I'm having the sads so bad right now :( Our weather has been awful and the recovery from my op 2 weeks ago is taking a long freakin' time! My ability to move has been some what limited, I can't walk far, definitely can't walk the dog (can't even cuddle her), can't drive or travel in a car, can't lift weights and I've run out of chocolate 😭 I am on light duties for one more week before I'm allowed to go back to normal activity.

For those that know me, I don't do well being slowed down, and I hate asking for help....but....

Please cheer me up, funny memes, fur baby pictures, a funny story, something pretty you took a photo of recently, anything, come at me my lovelies, help me get through another week of feeling so uggghhhhh.
