It’s been sometime since I’ve done a hi/all about us post!

I’m Cath, and Aster & Bloom has been my darling business for the last 6 years 💖
What started as a wee passion project turned quickly into something bigger, and has resulted in working with over 150+ couples on their big day. How lucky!

I have an almost 2.5 year old son, Archie, who is just the most gorgeous insane thing ever, and have another little boy on the way, due September.

I ADORE what I do, and somehow get more passionate about what I do every season. Last season, I welcomed to my one man band to work alongside me, and this has been the best decision ever! So grateful to have the best sidekick who is just as passionate about flowers as I am.

You won’t find 2 people more particular about making your wedding flowers perfect, I genuinely mean that. We are fussy almost to a fault but wouldn’t have it any other way 😂

I’m excited for this coming season and can’t wait to get my hands in the florals 💞🌺

With wedding season done, it’s our time to book next season and get planning! I’ve been beavering away on the admin, conversing with our late 2024/2025 couples, and have just opened up 2026 bookings. Nuts!

Delivery available Tuesday-Friday, all throughout the Bay of Plenty and Waikato (see the website for more details!). Full range online now.

As per usual, we just need orders for the next day in by 10am the day prior. We only use the freshest of the fresh, and this ordering cut off makes sure that happens! 🎀

The not so secret secret! Baby boy #2 is on board and due Sep 🩵💙 I’ve been sporting a not so subtle bump for the last few months of the season, and attempting to hide some lovely morning sickness throughout the chaos that was the height of the season!

Thanks to my wonderful team of gals, we will be keeping on keeping on next season and will be spending the next few months planning with and booking in our lovely 24/25 couples. You may just not see my face around quite so much in those early days!

Aster & Bloom is a Hamilton based florist, with a focus on wedding & event flowers, also offering flower delivery. Our style is romantic, feminine, and a little bit wild. We love supporting local, and use locally grown flowers wherever possible!
