A little story about how Laylyn Platters came to be:)

This guess this wee story started many years ago when I decided to become a chef by trade at 17 years old....................

My passion for food and people come together after many years of hard work in the hospitality industry and experiencing most parts of what hospitality had to offer from catering, to cafes to bars to management roles, I have done most of it and it has given me everything I needed to create something of my own. I finally found something I absolutely love - other then my family. At the end of the day I do all of this for them. Creating a lifestyle before work became a priority when my eldest girl started school....she made me realise that they needed me around and I needed to stop working 55 hours a week. And this is how Laylyn platters was made, named after my girls Laycce and Harlyn. I have the most supportive and loving husband and he is 100% my rock and non of this would have happened without him by my side.

What I create is unique and amazing on another level, I take great pride in creating amazing patters and tables that not only look fabulous but taste amazing too, have healthy and gourmet goodies as well as the sweets to satisfy. I source as much local ingredients as I can and I make all my own Hummus.

I set myself a standard, a level of what I wanted to bring in to this market and I am sticking to it to bring you something spectacular. Good food for good people who enjoy the yummy satisfactions of fabulous cheeses, honeycomb, fresh breads, beautiful crackers, dips and relishes as well as seasonal vegetables and fruits.
