Despite the lack of rain, the flowers are growing well, we also got a few lovely mils of rain overnight, which is so appreciated. We will be busy planting today. Sunflowers are on special this week, only $1.50 each. They are 70-80cm tall, and the blooms are approximately 10cm diameter. They are so bright and cheerful.

I had lots of freedom to create a wedding bouquet for a very trusting bride last weekend. :-) I came up with this gorgeous collection of spring, summer and winter flowers. I loved it, and so did she. I am so lucky to enjoy my work.

I was delighted to create this wee beauty for a young girl who get flowers every birthday from her grand parents overseas. Her request this year was for purple flowers, and she was even prepared to wait until the day after her actual birthday, so that I had all the purple flowers I wanted to make it. I hope she is enjoying them.🪻💜

We have some awesome specials this week, the prices of flowers were so cheap at market!
I felt sorry for the growers, as some of their flowers were not going to sell at the already low reserve, so bought a few extras!. Check out the website, and make an order for a friend or yourself. They start at $20. For cheaper posies, you can email to order, collect option available to Maraekakaho locals.
