The property out-look is the epitome of dramatic and breathtaking landscapes. The large stone and cedar clad homestead is architecturally crafted to capture both lake

and mountain vistas from the kitchen, dining and outdoor living areas. Staying at this special retreat will be an unforgettable experience for you and your friends and/or family. Lake Hawea View boasts a gorgeous open-plan living area with state-of-the-art facilities and a beautiful stacked stone fireplace indoors and out. Vast sliding cedar doors lead out from the dining room to immaculate lawns, the BBQ and hot pool area, overlooking the lake and mountains. Nestle in the comfort of luxurious leather lounge suites and soft furnishings or relax in the afternoon sun by sinking into the elevated day bed. Large granite benchtops span the main kitchen area with state of the art facilities and a built-in espresso machine. Enjoy a traditional Swedish sauna that seats up to six people. The guest house is the perfect addition to the main dwelling with a second kitchen and dining area. Lake Hawea View not only offers an idyllic and spectacular location for your stay but is also the perfect place to host your ultimate event. Whether it’s your wedding, birthday, corporate event or a family reunion, we have all you need to turn your dreams into reality. This property is in a quiet and private location, sheltered from the prevailing wind and elements. Grand in scale, the house can accommodate up to 14 guests overnight, allowing plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the tranquillity with your closest family and friends. If more beds are needed, the Earth Cottage (within 100m of Lake Hawea View) can host up to an additional 6 adults. The property can host up to 100 guests for your special event. Wherever possible, we make choices to minimise our impact on the planet and our treasured local environment.

One thing our couples love about getting married at Lake Hawea View is the floor plan! The guest wing, complete with its own kitchen, bathroom and three bedrooms is on the opposite side of the property to the master bedroom and other bedrooms and separated by the large dining and open-plan area meaning it is the perfect scenario for the groomsmen and bridal party to have their own private spaces to get ready. ⁠

Conveniently, this erases the need for transport to the wedding and helps keep your day stress free😀 ⁠
