Hope people reading this who are having a difficult time feel a bit better after reading this. 🌞

It’s the time of year when some of us have a diffcult time.

"Today was a Difficult Day," said Pooh.

There was a pause.

"Do you want to talk about it?" asked Piglet.

"No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do."

"That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend.

"What are you doing?" asked Pooh.

"Nothing, really," said Piglet. "Only, I know what Difficult Days are like. I quite often don't feel like talking about it on my Difficult Days either.

"But goodness," continued Piglet, "Difficult Days are so much easier when you know you've got someone there for you. And I'll always be here for you, Pooh."

And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his Difficult Day, while the solid, reliable Piglet sat next to him quietly, swinging his little legs...he thought that his best friend had never been more right."

Amazing doing this wedding ceremony as about 80 people were invited to a birthday party and got there to be surprised by the groom when he said thanks for coming to the birthday party, but guess what, it is also going to be our wedding. The cheers were loud. I pulled out my folder and got on with being the celebrant. Talk about a wonderful experience for everyone. Very joyful.

The wind was up big time in December 2021under The Wedding Tree at Lake Hawea, but no problem for these two. We braved it and had a beaut ceremony with a perfect backdrop and lovely family members present. Very special occasion ❤

I loved being the celebrant for this fantastic couple in February. It was 36 degrees, phew, so barefoot in the cool grass in the shade was the couples choice. Perfect. Always young at heart for these two.

High on a hill at Criffel Station, Wanaka, this 'in love' couple were married, surrounded by fabulous family, friends, and wrap around mountains. We all sucked up the awesome WOW factor and enjoyed a loving, meaningful and fun ceremony. Felt lucky to be their celebrant.

What a loving, fun and meaningful ceremony we shared 05 Jan 19 at Edgewater. Massive wind but we found shelter and still had great views. These two were absolute stars on their special day. Their smiles said it all about their loving hearts. Lucky me being their celebrant.

LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL. This is what I did on last Saturday on a winters day 1578 masl (metres above sea level). It was a brutal cold wind after a big storm. The sky cleared and the ceremony went ahead. Gorgeous and dramatic. The bride was a star in her strapless dress and shawl. I was in layers of merino and puffers with sheepskin boots. Being a celebrant is my perfect job.

It was 35 degrees on 26 Jan 2018 when this photo was taken over 5 months ago at Olive Grove in Wanaka. A lovely memory, even if it was somewhat sweltering. A bit chillier today on 08 July 2018.
