Very excited to welcome the gorgeous Morgan into the Donna Rae Family.

This stunning lady arrived with an open mind and willingness to give anything a go. Each dress more stunning than the last, and boy did she radiate in every single one of them! ✨

But the most magical part....the dress she ended up choosing was one that completely surprised her! It wasn’t what she’d imagined, but when she slipped it on, the look on her face said it all. Sometimes the perfect dress is the one you least expect.

It was such a joy watching Morgan fall in love with a gown she didn’t see coming.

Morgan, you are going to make such a stunning bride, and I’m so thrilled to have been a part of your journey. Thank you for trusting me to find your dream dress 🥰

I thought I’d take a minute to re-introduce my beautiful daughter, Greer 🥰

If you’ve been following our journey for a while, you’ve watched Greer grow from a sweet 7-year-old into the stunning, confident young woman she is today.

Over the past 10 years, Greer has spent countless hours in the shop, and it’s been amazing to see how she’s evolved. In the early days, she was often found playing dress-ups, as any young girl would in a place like this! But even back then, she was always eager to lend a hand with little tasks, her face lighting up with that trademark smile. As she grew older, she became more involved in the nitty-gritty work—stocktaking, organising, and handling the not-so-glamorous jobs with grace and enthusiasm.

As Greer matured, her passion for the bridal industry only deepened. She became increasingly involved in welcoming and helping our brides, and before long, I encouraged her to dive into the deep end at our Dunedin pop-up sale. At just 13, I challenged her to assist a bride in finding her dream dress—and to my amazement, she rose to the occasion, selling her very first wedding dress at such a young age! Watching Greer calmly guide brides through such a high-pressure situation was a very proud moment.

Now, at 17, Greer has developed a natural gift for bridal styling. Her ability to listen intently to each bride, understand their vision, and then find the perfect dress is truly remarkable. She has a maturity beyond her years and a genuine passion for making every bride feel special.

I am so incredibly proud of how far she’s come, and today, I’m excited to share that Greer is officially stepping into the role of Bridal Stylist 🥰 It’s a huge milestone for her, and I couldn’t be prouder as a mother and a colleague.

I can’t wait for you to see all the beautiful things she will bring to our brides in this next chapter. ❤️

Such a pleasure to welcome Tessa to the Donna Rae family 🥰

The moment I met Tessa and her gorgeous family, I knew this was going to be a great appointment.

Tessa had ideas of the dresses she wanted to try on, but in true Donna fashion, I mixed it up 😆 Turns out this beauty looks phenomenal in everything!

Tessa, I absolutely adored watching you fall in love with your dress hun. You looked so incredibly beautiful. Such a stunning lady inside and out. I'm so thrilled to be a part of this special journey with you. Congratulations xx

Biggest congratulations the gorgeous Alana who SAID YES TO THE DRESS 🥰

I had such a lovely time helping Alana with her wedding dress journey. We tried on lots of different styles but kept coming back to this one particular dress that had made her heart sing.

We narrowed the selection down to two finalists. Both equally gorgeous on Alana, which always makes the brides decision tricky.

But then it happened. A few wee tweaks to the original dress that Alana had been eying up, and there it was. A huge confident beautiful YES. What a beautiful sight before me. WOW!

So thrilled for you Alana. You are going to the make the most stunning bride xx

Biggest congratulations to the positively gorgeous Laura who said YES TO HER DRESS 🥰

Check out that stunning smile. Laura's smile was like this the entire appointment. She had such a great time trying on dresses with her support crew....and what an epic crew they were!

The first dress on our beautiful bride certainly stopped me in my tracks! Holy moly I had to pick my jaw up off the ground! I knew at this moment Laura was going to look incredible in every dress, but this one was special, and the entire room knew it.

A few dresses later we went back to the favourites. The moment the first dress was on, Laura knew this was her dress. The smile said it all. Laura had fallen for this dress and she looked breathtaking in it.

Congratulations Laura. Keep smiling gorgeous girl 😀

So thrilled to welcome Lyanna into the Donna Rae Family 🥰

This beauty started her journey to finding the perfect dress a few weeks ago. Having tried on a few styles at her first appointment, Lyanna came back with a clear idea of the perfect style for her.

From the moment I brought this one particular dress into the changing room, Lyanna couldn't stop smiling. We both had a feeling this might be the one!

Once in front of her family, it was obvious this dress touched Lyanna, as we all fell in love with the exquisite vision before us.

Biggest congratulations to our gorgeous bride Annika who SAID YES !

Annika came prepared with a list of dresses from our website. I was pretty excited to see this one particular dress on Annika, so thats where we started.

Woweee, we both just stared at each other in the mirror. This dress was spectacular on Annika and going to be very hard to beat. Although we had some front runners, nothing could come close to this stunner. Annika had found her dream dress and by crickey so wore it beautifully

I really do have the best job which allows me to connect with the coolest families.

Our darling bride Summer was an absolute goddess to dress with the most gorgeous supportive family.

I remember putting Summer in a dress that I knew she would look gorgeous in, but I didn't imagine just how gorgeous! We were all pretty much speechless at this point. Breathtakingly beautiful!

Biggest congratulations Summer. I loved every single minute of helping you find your dream dress x
