It's been a busy couple of months with The Grace Street Project with so many awesome stories being shared but helping the team pull this off with 3 hours notice was something special! 🤩

The Grace Street Project is a community-led initiative to build a much needed, multipurpose venue in the heart of south Invercargill.

It was a privilege to help make the ambassador announcement happen yesterday! 💚

“I came to meet my mum and fell in love with the place, and I fell in love with a Southlander, so I couldn’t leave. I got married pretty soon after I got here.”

It’s certainly been a minute since I’ve had the time to work on a project full of great people with an exciting vision but The Grace Street Project is definitely that! 💥 Thrilled to be working with the team behind this community hub and look forward to helping them share their story!

The foundation tenant of a multi-million-dollar community hub to be built in south Invercargill will help expand people’s technology skills, a project leader says.

Public Service Announcement!! 📣 Jonnies Kitchen is seriously impressive! I’d heard amazing things and we were lucky enough to have the wonderful Johnny and Emma preparing and serving the most spectacular meal at our place for my husband’s Xmas party last night. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for the xfactor for a special event!! 👏👏

Secretly we can’t believe food this good was prepared in our kitchen! I can no longer blame the equipment 🤭

🏆 Against the odds, the Environment Southland Community Awards were celebrated last night. With reduced numbers, in a socially distanced room, we were still able to work our way through the current restrictions to recognise the environmental champions in Southland. One to remember for sure! 😷

The New Zealand and Australia men’s and women’s 3x3 basketball teams will square off in Invercargill in October in conjunction with New Zealand's NBL 3x3 competition.

💥Tomorrow is the day!! This great group from the Thornbury Vintage Tractor Club are setting off from E Hayes & Sons Ltd - Invercargill tomorrow to raise funds for the Southland Charity Hospital. If you haven’t heard about their ambitious plan check out www.tractortrek.co.nz and sponsor a few Kms while you’re there! 🙌

Come on down to our store from 10am tomorrow, Sunday 2 May and support the team from Thornbury Vintage Tractor Club as they embark on their Vintage Tractor Trek taking a classic yellow Massey Ferguson Tractor all the way from Invercargill to Christchurch and back in 48 hours, to raise money for the Southland Charity Hospital

The team will leave from outside our store in Leet Street around 11am so make sure you are here to be part of this epic adventure as we give them a rousing Southland send off.

💥This time last week we were wrapping up this pretty special event. A family friendly, retro food festival to celebrate the 50th anniversary of NZAS!

I was so grateful to work with some awesome suppliers that saw my vision for this event and brought it to life. Riki and his team at Creation Signs were one of those suppliers that pulled out all the stops to produce something pretty special. I can’t wait to feature more of the superstars I got to work with!! 🤩

Exploring Tauranga this week and came across Our Place Tauranga - an awesome public space created from shipping containers. It has an all weather stage, in-built sound equipment and is surround by boutique pop-up shops & food. Such an awesome venue to support local artists, entertainment & business! 👏

Miss 3 was a big fan 💕 Wouldn’t a covered space in the city be perfect for Invers!
