It's been the longest of times since our last post. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Without stating the obvious, it's been one tricky year, and all my focus has been on keeping NEUX up and running. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
It is so hard to have a beautiful venue, with the most awesome team, to get soooo many great reviews but still keep hitting hurdle after hurdle. I feel extremely lucky to be still here and to have the opportunity to give it one big push this summer.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
I want to thank everyone who has helped keep us going; from popping in for a coffee and some cake, or booking a wedding - it is all truly appreciated - really people, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.​​​​​​​​

As New Zealand moves into the Traffic Light System on Friday, NEUX and The Port Molyneux School will require all guests visiting us to have a Vaccine Certificate.

I can honestly say that discriminating against a group of people for their beliefs doesn't sit well with me and there is a certain level of unease as I type this post. But, to protect my business and all the events and weddings we have booked in, this is how we will be doing things for a while.

I thank you all in advance for your understanding and ask that comments be kept kind, whatever side of the fence you sit on. I hope that all of our local businesses can be treated with compassion as they navigate these new and uncertain times. We're all doing the best we can with what we have been given.

We are looking for casual staff over at NEUX :)

We are looking for some special people to join our team and would suit those interested in working a couple of shifts a week or being on our casual list.

Kitchen
No experience is needed as we can show you the ropes, but a passion for food and creating delicious dishes is required to work alongside our Chef. This is an amazing opportunity for someone keen to get into this area of work and test out their skills.

FOH
We are looking for like-minded people to join our FOH superstars. You must be hard-working, quick on your feet, and have a smile on your face. No experience needed but must be available to work evenings and weekends.
