A huge Christmas market is coming your way this Saturday – the biggest ever Eileen's Market, Katikati!

We have 40 tables laden with candles, children’s books and clothes, toys, jewellery, metal art (of course), home baking, custard squares, crafts, two plant stalls and Santa’s Workshop Sale. There will be a sausage sizzle by the scouts as well as our great little café.

The Katikati Community Board will also be present talking about its work in our community.

Many of the stalls are new so it is going to be a great market from 8:30 am to 12 noon on Saturday, November 25 in the Katikati War Memorial Hall.

And then we will do it all again the following weekend to help you get your shopping done for Christmas. See you there!

Christmas is just over the horizon so Eileen's Market is holding two more markets this year - on Nov 25 and on Dec 2.

Here is something special for Eileen's Market, Katikati, this weekend.

Eileen has sourced a range of new children's clothes and shoes at great prices - just $3 for a set of clothes or a pair of shoes.

The clothes are for little (toddlers and a little bit older) while the shoes are kiddie sizes from 5 to 12. Times are tough and children grow so fast so here are some options for local families.

These will be available at Eileen's Market, in the Katikati War Memorial Hall tomorrow morning (Saturday, Oct 28) from 8:30 am until 12 noon.

There will be lots of other stalls too, of course, with local crafts, two local authors, plants, toys and a great little cafe. See you there!

Yes, it's time again for Eileen's Market, Katikati. This month we have the Scottish bagpipers, our great little cafe and lots, and lots of stalls - including two local authors, cards, metal art, yarn, plants and heaps of local craftspeople.

We also host Santa's Workshop Sale this month as our local importer sells of his seconds dirt cheap - word art, photo frames, trivets, shoulder bags, home decor and more. All have little faults but if you can see past that you are in for a bargain.

We will, of course, have our great little cafe and a warm welcome always at the Katikati War Memorial Hall from 8:30 am till 12 noon tomorrow (Oct 28)

Yes, the yarn stash has arrived back at Eileen's Market, Katikati this morning. There is a real mixture as Eilenn has picked up a job lot from a shop that closed.

Prices start at $1 per ball in the bargain bin. Most balls are $2.50.

Here are 43 really good reasons to come along to Eileen's Market, Katikati in the morning (Saturday, Sept 23) in the Katikati War Memorial Hall from 8:30 to 12 noon.

Each picture tells a story about the craftwork up for sale, from candles to metal art to custard squares to yarn to knitted crafts to sewn crafts to woodwork to Thai cooking to plants and produce. And that list still does not cover everything.

We will also have music from the Katikati Songsters, a new baking stall and even more earrings than normal.

The yarn selection has exploded as Eileen has picked up stock from a store that closed in Auckland so a great range of wool, acrylic and cotton yarns for the dedicated knitters and crochet fans.

Remember, this is a community market so all proceeds from stall hire go to local charitable causes. Please support our stallholders so that we can support our community.

By popular demand, Eileen has restocked the yarn with some exciting new arrivals and it will be available this Saturday (Sept 23) at the market, at Katikati War Memorial Hall, 8am to 12 noon.

We have music, dancing, cafe (yes, custard squares), candles, plants, produce, jewellery, Thai food, woodwork, metal art, yarn, and sewn and knitted crafts galore.

We'll have lots of gift ideas for Dad ahead of Father's Day next week (Sept 3). In fact, we have gift ideas for all the family!

Hi Everyone yes it’s that time again for Eileen’s Market next Saturday 26th come along and check us out we have some lovely ladies with knitting Childrens jumpers etc sewing aprons and oven gloves etc so much more Don’t forget we have wooden toys hand made they are fabulous
I have bought back the yarn after a big discussion so come and have a look

What do bagpipes, custard squares and a wide range of crafts have in common? Yes, its Eileen's Market, Katikati again this Saturday morning (July 22) at the Katikati War Memorial Hall.

Krystal will be there with your beautifully scented candles, Carl will have his creative wooden toys and homewares, Matahui School will be back with its fundraising stall and there will be plants available too.

All the usual craft experts will be on hand and there will be some new stalls too!

Eileen has ordered a bumper batch from The Custard Square Lady this month and the cafe will also have the usual cakes, muffins and very popular scones with jam and cream.

Hungry for some delicious Thai food? Bangkok Kitchen by Nui will be at the market too.

We'll have plants, crafts, scented candles, lucky dips, jewellery (welcome back Diane and Craig) and our great little cafe with homemade cake, scones (with jam and cream) and those very special Katikkati custard squares.

Hi Everyone

Just a reminder it is Eileen's Market, Katikati this Saturday morning at the Katikati War Memorial Hall. Come and check us out!

Our jewellery stall will back at the market this week. Come have a look of what they have made while previously away.

We have the Scouts sausage sizzle on out the front of the hall - you should find them by the lovely smell.

Shiray’s Plants will be alongside the scouts with plenty of natives (mini flax, oioi, pohutukawa, titoki etc), vege plants, house plants and more.

Of course we have heaps of other interesting stalls and a great little cafe.
