Rae and Brendan are fantastic hosts. We were the first guests to stay in their new purpose built cabin and Rae and Brendan worked really hard to get it ready in time for our stay over Christmas. The attention to detail is amazing. There were lots of unexpected little extras provided. We were made to feel super welcome. Bluestone Retreat.

Was once just a dream but now is our reality, a Farm Stay Bed and Breakfast in one of the most beautiful locations in NZ, rural but only 30 minutes from Christchurch for travel connections, major shopping and entertainment, but also only 5 minutes from the great little townships of Leeston and Southbridge, both of which have pretty much everything you need including great cafes and restaurants. Lake Ellesmere is just across the road and Harts Creek nature walk is also only a couple of minutes up the road.
