Tomorrow is the LAST day that Marcella Point will be open, via the Centuria Taranaki Garden Festival 🌸 It has been a WONDERFUL 10 days meeting loads of amazing people, putting up with my antics! 🫠 To Lynn and Sandra who sit at the gate greeting you all - you are my saviours 💝 And to Louise and Eric who greeted you all during the first two years, - again - my saviours ❤️ This year, the Lego Display by Sharlene and Clint was amazing - two people who do this for the love of it! 🏆 To the People at Marcella’s Market - sitting in the cold, wind (and surprisingly even the odd fine day) all of you, make this a "Festival within a Festival" ⭐️ To the Waitara Returned and Services Association - Inc. - putting as much passion into involving Veterans during a Garden Festival – we did it!! And I have to say we are full of pride remembering each and every soldier past and future 🇳🇿 Trevor Bremner – playing his WW1 Bugle every single day, for 10 days each year, in sometimes the most horrendous weather, with the sound through the garden, has been a truly magnificent experience 🥹 There are others... and you know who you are... but to you who have visited, I am honored, humbled and truly thankful and appreciative that you gave your time to visit me 🫶🫵❤️ So after 4 years – that’s a wrap! 🫡 Love Cheryl and Geoff x

This is the LAST weekend of the Centuria Taranaki Garden Festival and the LAST time Marcella Point will participate, so we hope to see you! 😍 After discovering letters from relatives written in WWI, I was inspired to create an ANZAC theme for my garden and, since 2021, during the garden fest, it's been our privilege to fundraise for the Waitara Returned and Services Association - Inc., - which has been made possible through the support of MANY amazing people ❤️❤️❤️ It's about remembering those who gave us what we've got!! 🇳🇿 We hope you'll join us at 4pm for our final "Last Post" ceremonies over the final festival weekend, to make it extra special ✨ If the weather behaves (🙏) the amazing Taranaki Caledonian Pipe Band will attend on Sun Nov 10th, from 3pm, to support a pre Armistice Day commemoration 🥁🫡 The joyous Phoenix Morris Dancers may make a special visit around mid/late morning on Sunday 🌈 Don't forget Cheryl's Tours daily at 10:30am, coffee cart, sausage sizzle and other treats onsite, plus all the LEGENDARY market stallholders, who have all the goodies you need🏆 See you there 🤗🥰

We’re halfway through the Centuria Taranaki Garden Festival, which will be the last for Marcella Point 🫶 It's been an incredible journey and we're delighted to share plans for this final weekend 🌸If you missed the amazing Taranaki Caledonian Pipe Band, don't fret, they'll be BACK on Sun Nov 10th (weather dependent of course🌞🎵) This would be for a very special pre Armistice Day commemoration - they plan to start from 3pm, ready to join us at our 4pm Last Post🎺🇳🇿🥁🫡 The Waitara Returned and Services Association - Inc. will attend for the Remembrance Day and we'd love to see you there too ❤️ We also believe our special guests, the Phoenix Morris Dancers will be making a return around mid/late morning on Sunday - these dancers are an absolute joy and so much fun! 🥳✨🌈 Don't forget Cheryl's Tours daily at 10:30am, coffee cart, sausage sizzle and other treats onsite, plus all the legendary market stallholders🏆Many requested the fabulous Teemello Cakes so Liv's back this weekend too!🤤Keep it magic and fun, see you there 🤗
