We want to extend our THANKS to Adrian, Ryan, and Hannah from Blue Carrot Catering for generously volunteering their time this past Sunday. Your dedication and passion made the day incredibly special!

🍝 Together, we crafted pasta from scratch – an amazing experience! A special shoutout to Georgia for her incredible help in making the two delectable sauces: a mouthwatering chorizo and Italian sausage sauce, and a scrumptious vegetarian sauce.

Gathering together to enjoy our Kai was the highlight of the day. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone loved it!

Thank you once again, Adrian, Ryan, Hannah, and the entire Blue Carrot Catering team, for making this event unforgettable. Who knows maybe we have some chefs one day?

In 2014, the Living Wage Employer Programme was launched, with a handful of brave businesses from across the motu stepping up to become the first Living Wage Employers in Aotearoa NZ!

These businesses were the first to commit to the set criteria, be approved by the Accreditation Advisory Committee and the first to bear the trademarked name and branding. These businesses were trailblazers 🔥 10 years later, many of these businesses remain proud accredited Living Wage Employers.

Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing their story and why 10 years later, they are still Living Wage Employers ❤
