It was great to see so many people out and about at the market today. Patrick was very busy doing Horse & Wagon rides with Lochie & Max giving people a taste of how travel was in times past. Tons of activities going on - Live music, Bouncy Castle, Train Rides, Wagon Rides plus a great deal more.

Today we had the privilege of providing Horse & Wagon rides at the beautiful Palm & Clivia Gardens in Matakana fundraising for the local Playcentre. There were lots of plants for sale, a cake stall selling the most yummy food, coffee cart, hotdog stand plus a few other stalls. Thank you Dan (our son) for your amazing help, we couldn't do it without you.

This is the wedding we were preparing for that took place last Saturday held at the The Stables Wedding Venue & Secret Garden - Matakana where we are based with the horse & carriage. Lots of preparation goes on for an occasion like this but well worth it and always a lot of fun to be a part of. The cloak that the bride & groom are wearing plus the rest of the wedding party is called a Korowai or Kahu hururu - a Maori Ceremonial garment. Many thanks to our son Dan for helping out on the day, plus all the other days he helps us out when we need it.

A late afternoon Pony Party starting off with a Wagon Ride then finishing off with Pony Rides in the dark - what fun! I think we will get some lights to decorate the wagon canopy and do some evening tours - let us know if you're interested in one - maybe a good thing to do for a group Christmas Party or just for the fun of it!

This Saturday 5pm - 9pm we will be giving Pony & Carriage Rides at the end of the Night Market lane at the Matakana Country Park.
