Last year our test sunflower plot got stripped within an hour of opening... this year we are going a bit bigger to ensure there's more for everyone! We also placed it in a spot on our farm that gets beautiful low light levels at dusk which will allow some beautiful photo opportunities. Looking like it's going to be a wonderful flower season 🌻🌻🌻

That's a wrap!
A massive thank you to our community and all the new friends we made today.
Our only regret was selling out of flowers half way through, we are so sorry if you made the trip out and there wasn't much left. We seriously underestimated the interest in our little farm and of course, wouldn't want to turn anyone away.

Thanks so much for everyone coming out and being so patient with our chaos as we tried to brace down for the crowds. We are very sorry to say but we are all out of flowers. Sausage sizzle and cuddle corner is still going ☺️

Kia ora whanau,

We didn't expect so many people to be interested so please be patient with us while we try and sort the day out for you smoothly tomorrow around our own jobs and families ☺️☺️

There will be a sign in table this time so please check in and check out the paperwork to keep our health and safety team happy.

Our dahlias aren't in the best condition at the moment due to the amount of picking they have had recently ,still beautiful but please be mindful where you step (there's been a few dahlia plants crushed under foot) The sunflowers are also in bloom so you can add that to the list of activities, alongside potato competitions, face painting and diy flower crowns aswell as bunny and chicken cuddles. Well also have a sprinkler going for the kids to cool off.
Sausage sizzles will be on for your to purchase 😍
Koha donations cover your entry, flower picking and activities to help us fundraise and keep the farm development going so we can do more like this in future.

So looking forward to seeing you :)
