Kylie is my husband’s cousin and Josh has proven to be a devoted partner and stepdad to her son too. They are both kind, generous, warm and charismatic people who truly are made for each other 🥰

This weekend is something different for me - I’m at my old high school for the 50th reunion! Tonight we party and tomorrow morning I’ve been asked to MC the remembering and celebrating service. Such an honour to have been asked 🥰 and it’s been great so far catching up with old classmates and teachers! (It was 25 years ago when I finished my college years 😳!)

From 9 Nov 2024… after Alisha and Tony’s wedding in Middlemarch we all shared a drink in the hills before making our way down to the woolshed for their reception.

Having me stay on as their MC meant all their guests could relax and they could too knowing someone was on hand to liaise with other vendors like the DJ, caterers and photographer and help keep their evening plans in order and on time ✔️

My first wedding for 2025, and it was for this lovely couple at their home only a stones throw from my home coincidentally! They were surrounded by their closest family including their wee daughters in their back yard and thankfully the mornings rain had stopped and the sun returned in time ☀️

These two have already shared more than 26 years together but this year they decided to make it official with a party amongst their friends and family at home in their garden and then onto the bowling club for hangi and drinks. It was lovely to meet you both and an honour to officiate your marriage.

These two planned an amazing day with their loved ones on a family farm high in the hills of Middlemarch. Every detail reflected them perfectly, from Alisha’s stunning black dress, to the army tank that Tony arrived up the hill in! They also handmade all their tables, benches and other decor for the dinner. I was honoured to marry them and stay on as MC for the evening. What a great day - I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness 💖

Love these two! They tied the knot at their home with their children and a friend present then we all had a drink and shared cake (which was Gary’s highlight!). Wish I’d taken a photo of the cake, it was a black and red stunner!

These two tied the knot at the stunning Lochend Woolshed on a sunny (but very windy) day. They’re a lovely cruisy couple who just laughed it off when the best man literally left the rings in a bag inside 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😝 Their friend spoke about them so nicely and I was there for all the legal aspects of the ceremony 💥 💍 🖊️ Great wedding to kick off the season for me. Wedding season for me gets underway next month, with five weddings in October and November. I've been busy preparing scripts and meeting with couples and can't wait for their big days.
Another night off writing tonight though, as we are off to see our two youngest children in their school production of Lion King Jr. (we have a lion cub and a grasslands dancer!)

These two were wed on Saturday inside at the St Clair Golf Club due to the rain and it was just perfect 🤩 The venue was amazing, Stacey and Chris said lovely vows to each other and their two boys were a big part of the ceremony which made it really special.
