Have you ever heard of King Cake before? It is also known as Galette des Rois, a traditional pastry famous in France during January for the Epiphany. It consists of two layers of flaky puff pastry with a sweet almond filling. It's buttery, rich, and delicious!

Holydays finished. We are back at the kitchen.
Galette production starting next week.
And we ll be back at the Hawke's Bay Farmers' Market this Sunday for the first Macaron/Croissant 2024.
