Hi everyone. 🍃🍃There are a few changes to our hours this winter. With our lovely Claire heading off onto other adventures, it is back to designing solo in the studio in stoke. Tucking in during winter it is the perfect time to enjoy my time on a Tuesday with my wee grand daughter. I will be popping in to finish orders and prepare flowers with Elsie some Tuesdays, so you might see us there!! Feel free to chat if you have a special order on that day as if there is some notice I am sure I can help!! Sarah 🌿🍃

This weekend was a beautiful mix of different styles for different vibes. Dried mixes, fresh mixes different colour palettes, it’s amazing how a personality shows through in the design process. Always gorgeous!! 🍃🌿

Sometimes a week later we can see the beauty of these blooms when they fade. Translucent powdery colours that are so fragile, before they shatter in a breeze. I adore these beauties at this stage in all their glory!!

The tireless work of charity groups is always unwavering. If I can help in a little way to support them, I will. These beautiful oriental lilies are for a stand run by the Nelson Haven Club at this years Home and Garden show. They are selling bulbs for your garden in the most stunning colours. All profits go to the Cancer society. A little help goes a long way!! X🌿💛

Walking Jack this week I came across a patch of violets. The scent is so distinct.. sweet and subtle. In my studio, it is like a perfumery, so unusual to notice a single floral note.
Violets are different, the fragrance seems to rise above that.
When I was a junior florist at 17 an elderly lady used to bring in little bunches of violets wrapped in cotton thread, for us to sell. They always looked so lovely sitting up on the counter...Maybe that’s why I love them still. 💕

It was pleasure to create this beautiful white wedding for Debbie at the beginning of the year. Using precious mementos just adds to the significance of the flowers.💍It always looks like Creative Chaos in the studio in the days prior to a wedding , with flowers everywhere!! Then through the day, while bringing it all together, we start to see an end result. The best feeling is when we get the opportunity to place the flowers and see the dreams and ideas become the reality for this very special day🌿 I just Love It! .

A beautiful Winter wedding this season was in Shades of White. Removing all the green foliage, created a clean and crisp look. This is a Wedding Trend that has been around for the last two seasons (removing the foliage!) and is set to take over the Wild/Boho styles of the last 6 years.🌱 What do you think??🌿 .
