Awesome display last night in Nelson for a private celebration. Great fun, just a little bit on the cold side by the time pack out was done but my heart was warmed by the client reaction and that of their guests. Thank you Jason it was a pleasure 😊🙏

...Today, 24th Feb, was purple poppy day honouring the animals of war. We ran a scenario of WW1 animals and service personnel emerging from their rest in the RSA cemetery, through the purple smoke, to honour the animals that served with them, led by the rider less horse in keeping with military tradition. A moving ceremony followed...

Purple Poppy day, 24th Feb, is on again this year. Marsden War Memorial cemetery. Honoring all the animals that served in numerous wars and I am pleased to be bringing some of our special effects to the service again this year. You and you pets are welcome at this evening service.

Purple Poppy Day is to remember and honour all the animals that were sent to serve with our Armed Forces in numerous conflict zones. This year, 24th Feb, a memorial rock and plaque will be unveiled at Marsden Cemetery to honour those animals often overlooked in our wartime histories. I am pleased to have been asked to contribute some purple special effects to help make this a special ceremony.
