Happy Long Weekend.
Can't belive it's Easter already and the end of flower Season at Esther-Mays. We will be back flowering again in November.

Until then I thought id share how the name for my page came about.... Esther is my Mums middle name & May is the middle name of both of my Nanas, my Great Nana and me. 1 Esther - lots of Mays. My last flower picture for a while is a few short stems arranged in a little bunny vase that always sat on Nanas dining table. (Dorothy May)

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased flowers this season, I really enjoy growing and arranging flowers can't wait till next season!

It's been a bit of a funny season so far this year with a lot less flowers than usual. Could be the lack of rain, might be the soil.
I'm going to put some time into soil improvement over winter, for now I'm testing out some pollenless sunflowers... best stage to pick them, are they actually pollenless and how long will they last.
Loving these ones so far, photos taken 2 days apart. Definitely a keeper.
