At Be Magical, we bring stories to life! Our characters whisk children away on enchanting adventures, where magic sparkles, courage shines, and imagination knows no bounds.

But amidst all the fairytales and wonder, let’s not forget the most important story of all—the one we are living every day. Our children are writing theirs with every laugh, every challenge, and every dream they chase.

Meet Cormac, an enthusiastic and dedicated performer with a passion for musical theatre and sport. Since 2018, he’s been an active member of the New Plymouth Operatic Society, where he discovered his love for bringing characters to life and entertaining others.

When he’s not on stage, Cormac is a student in his final year at New Plymouth Boys’ High School. He’s a keen football player and enjoys the occasional round of golf in his downtime.

Cormac joined the Be Magical crew as Spider-Man in November 2024 and has well and truly settled into the role. His dedication, energy, and friendly nature have made him a favourite with kids and families, and we’re thrilled to have him as part of the team!

One of the highlights of our christmas adventures was Jingles the Elf spending time with the amazing Heart Kids Taranaki. The joy, laughter, and love in the room was magical, and we feel blessed to have been part of such a heartwarming celebration.

This New Year’s Eve for Festival Kids Toy Box Party at the TSB Festival of Lights

Fred Parker Lawn
Dress up as your favourite character or wear your best costume and meet some of your favourite characters, Spider-Man, Rapunzel, Elsa and Tinkerbell, and dance away the last moments of the year.

We will start an earlier countdown before parading a loop around the lake.

We feel so blessed to be able to add the little magic on Christmas Day to those that can’t be at home with family and friends.

Santa, Mrs Claus, and Tinker Bell jingled through Taranaki Base Hospital on Christmas Day, spreading lots of joy and laughter to those in Ward 2B, the TSB Children and Young Persons ward.
