KDJ Catering is on the hunt for a passionate Chef / Cook to join our small, dedicated kitchen team in the canteen at the Maui Production Site in the beautiful Opunake area.
This role is perfect for someone who loves an early start, enjoys working with a close-knit crew, and takes pride in delivering quality hot breakfasts and lunches. Youโll be responsible for day-to-day kitchen operations with the team, including menu preparation, cooking, and managing stock ordering.
๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐:
- Prepare and cook hot breakfasts and lunches to a high standard.
- Work alongside a small, supportive team.
- Manage stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are always met.

- Proven experience as a cook or chef in a cafรฉ, catering, or similar.
- Confident working independently.
- Willing to help out with other tasks (like cleaning) when needed
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage stock ordering.
- Passionate about good food and great service.
- Early starts and Monday to Thursday schedule suits your lifestyle.
- Must be able to pass random Drug & Alcohol tests
