Yesterday we went to to do a
1. Giant Eton mess platter with berry coulis pansies & cornflowers from my garden 2. Gluten free chocolate brownie mountain with chocolate sauce & strawberries 3. Grazing platters to start 4. Eton mess platter (1mt wide platter to put it in perspective).
Thanks & congratulations Jordyn & Liam! We really enjoyed being part of your day! We served our Banh Mi from the food truck window for the main course.
We aim for event catering. All packaging and service ware used is compostable/recyclable, food waste goes to the chickens & and leftover food gets left with the client for a bbq the next day.

Hey Ōamaru, guess what? We're thrilled to let you know that we'll be bringing the food truck to the Lower Thames Street event on Friday 1 December, starting at 7pm! 🚚❤️

As you know, this magical event organized by the Waitaki District Council promises to be a real treat for the whole community. With a magnificent 10-meter tall Christmas Tree dazzling with four thousand twinkling lights, It's sure to be even be seen by Santa himself! 🎅✨

We're bringing our A-game to this event, serving up our slow roasted crispy pork belly or Chimichanga chicken Banh mi's! 😋🌯 Plus hot chips – choose between classic tomato sauce or rich gravy. We will have fizzy drinks & water as well.

But wait, there’s more! This event is all about community spirit, and we're proud to work alongside some awesome vendors. Grab a coffee from One Smart Coffee, treat yourself to a delicious Real Fruit ice Cream, get your face painted at Pop! face art, and don't miss out on the sausage sizzle done by the Breakthrough church as they fundraise for a great cause! 🌟

🎄 We're shining the lights on the festive season tomorrow (Friday 1 December fro 7pm) with Light up the Tree 2023! (If the weather is anything like it is now, it'll almost feel like a winter Christmas eve - so rug-up warm).

House of Breakthrough Oamaru are doing $2 Sausages for the food bank, there's ice cream, coffee, That Food Guy and Pop Face Art, with festive tunes to count us down to when the lights go on after things get dark (approx 9.15pm). Ho-ho-hope to see you there 🎅

Pre-sales of the first 50m of Waitaki tartan #1 are open, and we should have some woven in the next few days if you're waiting to see more of the design. We're trying our best to have some ready for Christmas!

Tomorrow we are celebrating a small and delicious selection of treats introduced to Aotearoa by migrants over the years. There was a lot of ideas thrown around & we settled on 1.tiramisu 2. Croque Monsieur (sourdough bread, smoky ham, cheese & dijon cheese sauce grilled in the hot press) 3. Dutch Speculaas (fresh baked orange & spice biscuits) & 4. black forrest gateaux. The Global morning tea is on tomorrow at the Opera House Cafe from 10am to 12pm & food available till it runs out.

Today we made Whitestone cheese boxes for the opening of Well done the production looks awesome! The place is buzzing!!

Today at we did lunch boxes for an Otago Hospice meeting. Chimi chicken Banh Mi salad, lemon delicious cake, grapes and caramelised onion, bacon & cheese frittata. Yum!

We are away from the Oamaru Farmers' Market this week the 24th Sept as we are in Kurow at the Spring Challenge on Saturday and its going to be a huge day for us. We will definitely be back to the market on Sept 30 for your Banh Mi & juice fix!
