Hi everyone 🌻 We’re in a bit of a transition period at the moment. We want to acknowledge and thank everyone that has sent through inquiries lately for our offerings, in particular our workshops. So we thought we would do a little bit of an offical info post today to share that we are currently working on updating and refreshing our offerings, workshops included and our website is due to have an update end of June/early July. We are preparing these exciting changes at the moment so you might see less of us online in the next few weeks but we are still here preparing awesome new things for you all! 🌱 So please stay tuned for those updates and follow us to make sure you get these notifications when we post and update our stories. Open Hours Reminder 🪴 Our general shop and garden hours have been updated recently to better cater to the season and everyone’s needs. Adjusting the shop hours has been quite a challenge due to our rural location with limited foot traffic and allowing enough time or the right times for everyone. But we think our new hours offer convenience and consistency for both our lovely local customers and those of you who surprise us from out of town. 🌻🤩

When our foliage can’t be dried or reused, we will sometimes burn the excess to give it new life… 🌱 Spreading ash in small amounts into your soil can be great for your garden. The ash adds nutrients to the soil such as potassium, improving plant health. For those who have fireplaces that are being used this winter, or if you have a safe, contained area to burn excess branches or plants, try sprinkling a thin layer of ash evenly over your garden beds and gently mix it into your topsoil, making sure it’s cooled and clean before applying. Like a lot of things, a little goes a long way so avoid using too much, as it can harm the plant’s roots in excess amounts.

It’s Men’s Health Awareness Week and a good time to unite in raising awareness about men’s well-being and to show our support, care, and appreciation for the men in our communities. It’s important for our men to slow down, get check-ups and focus on themselves too. Our workshops, botanical tours and gardens have been a great space for men to come and find a tranquil moment, as well as the women who accompany them. So if you are thinking of helping your man, or someone who is dear to you find a quiet moment or something that makes them stop and think about their health, just take time to do the things you enjoy together and let them know you appreciate them.

We had an incredible group of ladies join us over the long weekend to create together in our beautiful shared space, resulting in an amazing finished product to hang as modern rustic decor. These hanging arrangements were a lot of fun to make.
