It is with regret that I have to inform you that I have made the decision not to start this group up again.
It has been a pleasure getting to know you all and I am sure someone else will take over and teach Rock n Roll or any other dance form should enough of you ask for it.

As there is only 2 weeks left of this term, putting it out there that we are looking to start back at the end of January 2023.
Still on a Thursday night.

Charge $5 per person for 8 week term. Payable up front ($40) per person.
Casual $10 per person payable on the night.
Please let me know if you are interested and if so, we will see you in the New year.

Hi team
Just been made aware of the following, so be safe and park in the area before the hall driveway.

Apologies for the late notice but we have only just been informed by the WBOPDC that the OSH driveway is scheduled for repair on Thursday, November 17 (tomorrow!). As a consequence, your Group attendees will not be able to drive into the carpark.

Parking is available via the Green Waste driveway (next to the Hall entrance), the side of Omokoroa Road or Goldstone Road (the Fire Station is on this corner). Please take care if you are crossing Omokoroa Road.

It is with regret that the decision has been made to discontinue the social dancing group.
Covid has had a major impact and maybe when things settle and interest is shown, we may start up again.
To those that have participated, a big thank you and what you have learned should give you confidence on the dance floor.

Lock Thursday 5th May at 7pm into your calendar. It has been a VERY long wait to get to orange level but finally we are able to commence social dancing lessons! We are sooooo excited to see you all again.

We were due to start the 2022 Social Dance year in the first week of February BUT ...
while the country is at red light level we cannot start 😪 HOWEVER once we are back in orange light level we will certainly be opening the doors to you, as long as you have your vaccine pass! So watch this space and keep your Thursday nights from 7pm free when we're back on our dancing feet 💃🕺

So how are you all doing? Are those feet getting itchy to get moving? I know mine are! Keep safe out there and as soon as we are back to level one again the dance floor will be open! Will keep you posted. Keep smiling, it takes less effort 😁

It seems we kept to many toes crossed... as we are still stuck in Level 2. Rest assured as soon as it is released that we drop to Level 1 we will dust off the shoes and get back on that dance floor. Keep on smiling... we'll have twinkle toes back soon!

Social Dancing Omokoroa.... even though we are moving to Level 2 we are still unable to meet due to the distancing requirements... hopefully we move to Level 1 quickly and we can commence dancing again. Keep safe everyone and we will see you soon. The team at S.D.O.

Hello Everyone

As you know, under our current Level 4 Lockdown, the Social dancing will be closed until Level 2 is able to be announced and even at that Level, there will be some restrictions to the activities we have been able to enjoy with Level 1 in effect.

We will continue to keep you updated as information comes to hand. Prior to reopening, the Halls will complete a thorough clean.
