ECT is quietly working on a few exciting developments that will hopefully emerge in the next few months. Firstly a community workshop on DIY compost toilets in Mt Cook, Wellington. Secondly, discussions with a University interested in the toilets for student accommodation. Thirdly, working with IHC disability support services to begin manufacturing the toilets in the Hutt Valley. remember, If you would like to build your own ECT, send me a message and I will forward you a guideline. Relieve - compost toilets for community resilience

Just beginning the page for 'Relieve'- the network of compost toilet enthusiasts from around New Zealand. Relieve started after the Christchurch earthquakes- providing support and information to residents on how to build and manage their own composting toilet.

Relieve is an association of experienced designers, builders, and users of compost toilets.
