Today's FIKA community high tea luncheon at the Ohinemuri Club was a truly uplifting celebration of community spirit! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who attended and played a vital role in making this event a resounding success. Thanks to your collective efforts, we've successfully raised $400 for the Ohinemuri Club Maintenance and Development Fund and another $600 for CPNZ Paeroa. Your kindness and generosity have inspired us to strive for excellence and make a profound impact in our community. We're honored to be part of such a compassionate community, where selflessness shines bright.

Our sincerest appreciation extends to all who supported our raffles, the Ohinemuri Club for graciously allowing us to use their premises, and our incredible sponsors Valley Funeral Services, Lorraine and Pete C, Jan and Ian M for their remarkable contributions to our raffle prizes. Mel's Catering Paeroa is overjoyed to announce our fifth annual Christmas Magic Community Luncheon, a jubilant celebration of love, joy, and community, on 6 December 2025 at the Ohinemuri Club from 12 to 2:30pm.

We're passionate about spreading Christmas cheer to those who need it most, particularly the elderly who may not have family or loved ones to share this special time with. As we've done for the past five years, we're dedicated to making a profound difference in the lives of others.

To ensure an unforgettable experience, bookings and prepayment are essential, so please secure your spot and let us know of any food allergies. We also encourage you to 'Pay it forward' for friends or family members attending. Your generosity will help spread love and kindness. Tickets are $20 per head. With all the thrilling events unfolding at the Ohinemuri club tomorrow, we will be open from 10am to 1pm and then again from 5pm to 8pm. Come and treat yourselves to our delectable pastries, paninis and toasties, and our heavenly scones and muffins in the morning and a sumptuous buffet salad spread with dinner and bar meal options accompanied by the enchanting music of the incredibly talented Helen Riley. Our affordable takeout meals are also available all day. Come and experience it for yourself. There's something to uplift everyone! 🥰❤️💐
