Hi Everyone!

Our locations this week...

Tomorrow night we're back at our fortnightly regular at A1 Sandblasters & Sacks Ltd Kelvin Grove with Tuss’s Tucker - Tasty Thai Fusion Toastie Boy and Hodoo from 5 - 7.30pm.

Then on Saturday you'll find us at the CHB Farmers Market in Waipukarau from 10am onwards. There'll be live music, lots of market stalls and a ton of other food trucks and vendors. Come check it out!

We're also pleased to announce we'll be adding some new items to the permanent menu..(available at our evening pop-ups)

Loaded Keto Cauliflower Bake,
cauli cooked in a creamy cheese sauce with your choice of beef brisket or pork and sauces!

and
Loaded seasonal Vege Medley(kumera, pumpkin, carrot, yams etc) cooked in olive oil and garlic your choice of brisket or pork and sauces!

Today we are at the Manawatu Craft and Food Fair in Barber Hall on Waldegrave St from 10am-3pm and then at the Hokowhitu Farmers Market tomorrow on Albert St from 9am-1pm.
Come and get your BBQ fix from us this weekend! And enjoy these great markets.

Thursday night we're back at A1 palmy pop-up Kelvin Grove with Tuss’s Tucker - Tasty Thai Fusion Toastie Boy and Hodoo from 5- 7.30pm

Friday night we'll be joining Toastie Boy and others at the Friday Night Food Trucks Pahiatua from 4.30 - 7pm

And Saturday at the Whanganui River Markets from 8.30 - 1pm.

Hey there folks!

Tomorrow night we're heading down to Levin for the Pop Up Eats Pop Up Eats Horowhenua in the Levin Mall carpark from 5- 8pm.

Thursday night we'll be skipping our usual spot at RSA in Ashhurst due to a family event but Tuss’s Tucker - Tasty Thai Fusion Toastie Boy and Hodoo will be there so check them out!

Sunday we'll at the Hokowhitu Farmers Market from 9-1pm.

Hey guys,

Sorry for the late post.
Tonight we have our fortnightly A1 Pop-Up Eats 5-7.30pm on 55 Kelvin Grove Road in the A1 Sandblasting forecourt. We will be joined by Tuss’s Tucker - Tasty Thai Fusion Hodoo and a new food truck: Toastie Boy! They sell freshly marinated grilled chicken wraps, fresh salads, meat on chips & for dessert, delicious baklava.

Along with our usual menu, we will be serving Apple Crumble with ice-cream for dessert $7.50 ea) 🍎🥧🍦and tonight's special is Pork Ribs with smokey spud Hash for $25 (photo below) 🍖🥔👌

Come on out for a tasty dinner and enjoy the atmosphere. Paul will bring the little furnace trailer too to keep you warm while you wait! 🔥see you soon 🤠

Thursday 1st Aug-----its our fortnightly 'Food Truck Alley' beside the RSA in Ashhurst from 5pm with Tuss’s Tucker - Tasty Thai Fusion Hodoo and Dos Locos Taco Come and choose your Thursday night takeaways and dessert from a variety of delicious options!

Saturday 3rd Aug----- We are looking forward to supporting Kruzin Kustoms Mid-Winter Chill Out from 1pm onwards. This is their annual open day! So cruise along and check out what's on show while you enjoy tender, smokey meat BBQ from us.

Sunday 4th Aug----- It's the first Sunday of the month so you'll see us at our regular spot at the Hokowhitu Farmers Market. Paul will bring his little furnace trailer to keep you warm while you wait and enjoy the market atmosphere.

Friday night we're at the mid year Christmas at Te Manawa Museum from 6- 9pm with Dos Locos Taco and Peko’s for the Santa's Cave and other activities- bring the family!

Saturday we'll see you at the Wanganui Whanganui River Markets from 9- 1pm.

Tomorrow night we will be at our 'A1 Palmy Pop Up Eats' on 55 Kelvin Grove Road in the A1 Sandblasting forecourt ready to serve you with delicious slow-smoked BBQ from 5-7.30pm!

We will be there with our friends Tuss’s Tucker - Tasty Thai Fusion and some exciting new food trucks: Dos Locos Taco and Hodoo while
Grillhaus NZ and Scooptruck are on their winter break. Dos Locos Tacos sell yummy Mexican style tacos and Hodoo do sweet and savoury Korean style waffles know as 'walnut treats' 🤤

So come on down, check out the variety, and let us warm you up and feed your soul on these cold winter nights!

we won't be at Food Truck Alley tonight sorry. However, Grillhaus NZ Tuss’s Tucker - Tasty Thai Fusion and Scooptruck will be there with their delicious food. Scooptruck will be there for the last time this winter! so be sure to get yourself an ice cream for dessert tonight 🍦.

SATURDAY----We are excited to have our BBQ trailer at the MID WINTER MARKET for the first time! 10-3pm at the Awapuni Racecourse. Come support us and others and enjoy a great variety of stalls to browse and unique products to choose from. Look for the smoke or follow your nose to find us there! 🍖🍔🥩🔥

Then on Sunday Paul will be at the lovely Hokowhitu Farmers Market 9am-1pm.

Happy 5th birthday to Tex-As Salsas! The past 5 years have flown by and I have learned so much, met some of the most amazing people and have been able to share a bit of my home and culture with you all. Thanks to each and every supplier, customer, stockist, friends and family that have been on this journey with me. The good, the bad and the ugly.

Some days, the struggle is real and I am not the smiling person you see in this photo. Remember us small folks and go and support all of the amazing makers, producers and stockists we are so lucky to have here in NZ!

What a ride it has been! Looking forward to the next 5 years. Xx

Memorial Park from 5pm!

Our usual menu plus handmade pizza🍕, peach crumble 🍑🥧 and chicken wings! We also have heaps of Loaded Spuds and Mac 'n' Cheese on board so come fill ya boots.

Please understand with the addition of handmade pizzas tonight things will be a little bit hectic so there may be a longer wait time than usual on orders. We appreciate your patience.

Feel free to text your order though with your PREFERRED time to Paul 0273279677 and we will text you when your order is ready for pick up.

⚠️NOTE: There is a chance that we might have to postpone our pop up to tomorrow at Memorial Park if the weather gets particularly nasty! Though it is showing it should clear up🤞

A high heat and quick cook is necessary to get the Pizzas just right and the wind strips the heat from the oven..so therefore we are at the mercy of the weather!
