Meet Serena, our rockstar Front of House Supervisor! She's the glue that holds our team together, making sure everything runs smoother than a perfectly brewed cup of espresso. Speaking of espresso, let's talk about her favourite dish: the Loaded Benny... poached egg on English muffins, topped (we’ll loaded-actually), with chorizo, mushrooms, bacon, fried chicken, hashbrown and our scrumptious house made hollandaise sauce! 🍳

But here's a little secret—Serena’s not just about managing the hustle and bustle. Her talents don't stop at Boho Cafe. She’s an artist with a flair that’s as vibrant as a sunrise! 🎨 Her artwork graces local gems like Thyme and Fig and Xvents. Exciting Career Opportunities at Boho Cafe
Boho Cafe, a dog-friendly suburban café in Awapuni, is seeking passionate team members to enhance customer experiences. We offer a friendly and unique atmosphere, providing a fast-paced work environment with daytime hours and occasional evening functions. Our café closes over the Christmas and New Year period to allow for relaxation. Staff meals and refreshments are provided, along with ongoing training and development opportunities. We offer a competitive salary based on your skills.
We are looking for individuals with a passion for food and cooking, who are available to work weekends and have café work experience. Candidates should have the ability to create contemporary dishes, maintain high food quality and presentation standards, and be familiar with the Food Control Plan (FCP). Excellent customer service skills are essential, as well as reliability, the ability to work under pressure, and being a team player with good communication skills. Flexibility and a positive attitude are also important.
Key responsibilities include producing delicious food, maintaining food safety standards, ensuring excellent dish presentation, assisting with stock control, and contributing to all aspects of service.
Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid work visa and be available for rostered shifts. Relevant experience in cooking or catering is required.

About us:

We are back and operating at Level 2. thanks for all your support, it’s been amazing to see so many old friends and make some new ones. It’s so good to see our famous cabinet with all the yummy goodies back. Changing the way the café operates, is always going to be a learning curve, and operating at Level 2 is such a change for our little cafes, so thanks for your patience and kindest. Please remember to ring 06 357 1384 for a booking, we were so sad to have to turn so many of you away on the weekend. For the next two Tuesdays we are closed for maintenance and staff training. We have got lots of exciting things planned so watch this space.
