We are super excited to announce we are finalists in the Cafe section of One.nz Plate of Origin Manawatu 2025, with not one but... drum roll please... TWO fabulous dishes! πŸŽ‰
✨ Awapuni Autumn Lamb - A rich, autumn-at-its-best dish featuring Ebony Coffee Roaster-infused slow-cooked Coastal lamb, served with rosemary-smoked Biofarm yogurt labneh, a refreshing Riverside apple salad, and rΔ“wana bread crostini (from Pioneer New World), all finished with a Hives Manawatu Riverdale honey vinaigrette.
✨ Palmy Loves Sausage Rolls - Our inclusive take on a classic Kiwi favourite featuring a crispy gluten-free pastry with Coastal lamb shoulder, silky slow-cooked leeks and creamy kumara mash, served with delicious Riverside Orchard pear relish.

These little furries have made their home by us. I estimate the little gingy to be about 8 weeks, and the tabby is older (but I am not sure). They are a little bit friendly but skittish. I don't know if they are male or female. All the cat rehoming places are too fill to take these little cuties. If you would like to offer a loving home to them - Boho Cafe will pay for them to have a check up, desexed and have flea and worm treatment at the Vet's (Malcom Anderson ) in Awapuni. https://www.facebook.com/thevetnz/ Please message me and I'll make a time for you to come and see them and sort out the rehoming details. Ps we have give them temporary names, Tabby and Zeppy (short for Zeplin)

About us:

We are back and operating at Level 2. thanks for all your support, it’s been amazing to see so many old friends and make some new ones. It’s so good to see our famous cabinet with all the yummy goodies back. Changing the way the cafΓ© operates, is always going to be a learning curve, and operating at Level 2 is such a change for our little cafes, so thanks for your patience and kindest. Please remember to ring 06 357 1384 for a booking, we were so sad to have to turn so many of you away on the weekend. For the next two Tuesdays we are closed for maintenance and staff training. We have got lots of exciting things planned so watch this space.
