8 Jan, update:
After seeing the vet a few days ago we moved on to the final treatment that Charlie could have, and crossed our fingers. And I am VERY pleased to say that he is making small improvements. Because of this improvement the vet said this could means it's meningitis (that wasn't responsive to antibiotics), a lesion on the spine or cancer. It's very early days but each extra day we have with him is an absolute bonus that I will take. Thank you all so much for your kind words and love that has poured through. It honestly means so much. 🥰

I haven’t been able to post about a merry Christmas or happy new year because I’m so sad tbh. For two months now our beloved Charlie has been declining in health. He’s only eight years old and has a mystery illness that the vet has not been able to diagnose. We think he’s at the stage where it’s more palliative care than finding a solution unfortunately. Our regular followers know how much we love and care for animals, any animals. We have cried so much over him and desperately been researching for an answer. He was so unwell yesterday we slept downstairs on a sofa bed because he can’t manage the stairs. Today remarkably he’s looking a bit better and outside on the deck enjoying what little sun we have today. Little Bonnie is not sure what’s happening and is very good at comforting us. I do hope your 2025 has started better than ours. ( I understand there is worse happening in the world, but Charlie is my world).

Yesterday I went to on King street and enjoyed a one on one yoga session with CT at 7am. Today I’ve done some mindfulness at Dawn in the spa.
What could I do tomorrow? 🙏🥰
