The completion of the latest major project, two 3x2m Historic Murals spanning the history of Carncot Independent School, unveiled as part of their 120th anniversary celebrations, Labour weekend 2023.

The concept, planning and duplicating images from the school archives started mid 2022, restoring images and design work started March 2023.

Consisting of some 120 images and around 100 hours later, the prints by Brushstrokes Ltd adhered to ACM board, were installed into the pre-made frames made by Philips & Co builders, the afternoon prior to the start of celebrations.

CELTIC SPIRIT / PIPING FOR PROSTRATE.

A fantastic first outing for the Celtic Spirit backdrop designed and produced by Magnum Images, at their “Piping for Prostrate” awareness and fundraiser concert at the Feilding Event Centre.

A great turnout raised over $1000 to go towards research, supporting those suffering from Prostrate Cancer in the Manawatu and raising awareness of the disease.

CELTIC SPIRIT BACKDROP
One of Magnum Images largest in size and most complete job to date.

Produced for the Celtic Spirit Scottish Pipe Band, this job was in two parts, first a 11M long x 3.5M high mural made in three section, one 5M and two 3M sections printed onto a fabric. Second part was the design and manufacture of six folding, telescopic metal supports to hold the entire backdrop up, that then collapses down for easy portability and storage. All designed and made in-house, with a great deal of help from brother Robbie.

Come and see it’s first outing this Sunday, 11th Sept 2022, 2pm at the “Piping for Prostrate” awareness and fundraiser concert, Feilding Event Centre.

A recent job for OBO Hockey, their new ROBO+ Leg Set in 360º. 9 colours, 23 images of each creating this time-laps,, was a bit of a mission but the end result was worth it!!

Highlighting 'Musical Instrument' Patents & Design Art Prints which include from makers & designers like Selmer, Ludwig, Fender, Les Paul, National, Conn, Stradivari and many others, now available from Magnum Images.

These are only a small selection of this category and a large and ever increasing range of subjects are also available. New categories include, 'Utensils & Tools' which include a range of kitchen utensils & workshop hand tools. Also 'Games & Toys' which include names like Monopoly, Cluedo, Rubiks Cube, Lego & Meccano. Other subjects range from coffee making paraphernalia, vintage fire arms to brewing and distilling equipment. 'Miscellaneous' contains Coca Cola bottles, gym equipment, typewriters and vintage fuel pumps. There are various forms of transportation, aircraft, motorcycles, steam & rail, motorsport and much much more.

Many of these patents and designs date back over 150 years and include some weird ands wacky ideas, and some brilliant ones too. Some you will recognize but had no idea how they came to be, who invented or designed them.

The black and white patents and designs drawings are resorted by Magnum Images and then various patinas are added to give them one of four main looks; Vintage, Blueprint, Blackboard and Blue or Black ink on white paper. Certain patinas work better on certain images but also suit the environment you wish to put them in. Be it your man cave, kitchen, games room, batch there is bound one that suits.

The final product is then printed to order in-house at Magnum Images on our Epson Photo Printer using archival inks and paper. Sizes in most cases is 400x500 and can be supplied framed for $140inc GST or unframed for $100inc GST.

Included with patent prints where available are the accompanying documentation describing what the patent is for.

Motorsport Memorabilia Art Prints.

In most cases these are original designs conceived and produced in-house at Magnum Images using various subject matter and effects, filter and processes to obtain the desired effect or design. Some however are original event or promotional material of events or products from the era. These have been digitally restored where required.

All however are printed to order in-house at Magnum Images on an Epson Wide Format photo printer using archival inks onto German Sihil photographic paper. These are not cheap, high volume commercially produced posters that fade and discolour in a years or two these are high quality archival prints.

Sizes in most cases is A2 (420x597mm) and can be supplied framed for $170inc GST or unframed for $120inc GST.
