Just because we're in midwinter, doesn't mean it needs to be drab 🎉 This gorgeous blush design made it out of the kitchen last week for a 65th birthday celebration. Flavours included lemon yoghurt cake soaked with lemon syrup, filled with tangy lemon cream cheese icing.

Biscoff has officially made it to Vanilla Pod...just a few years late 🤣 Made for a friend's birthday, this cake was a delicious combination of vanilla yoghurt cake, salted caramel cream cheese icing, and layers of Biscoff spread.

Happy Friday! And what a stunner of a day it is. 🌞 It was a busy week in the kitchen with lots of beautiful cakes heading out the door. First up, was this purple cascade design, very sweetly chosen for the birthday lady by her young daughters. Flavours included chocolate mud cake with raspberry cream, dark chocolate ganache, and berry coulis.

Rustic, simple, and delicious for a special friend's 30th!

I've been a bit MIA lately, but after working on cakes over Christmas, there's finally time to share some of the recent creations! This beauty travelled all the way to Napier for a friend's wedding. Soft neutrals, with plenty of gorgeous blooms from . Flavours were summery to match, with lemon yogurt cake, lemon swiss meringue buttercream, and tangy passionfruit pulp.

Spring vibes only 🌻 Made for a 21st birthday recently, this cake was soft and floral on the outside, and chocolatey with salted caramel on the inside. Best of both worlds!
