Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue…

For today’s wedding I managed to capture this tradition.

Old: My Dad’s ring, so he’s always close to me. He was a performer and I like to take his energy with me.

New: My jewellery set gifted to me by my beautiful sister in law for my 40th birthday. It’s called “a kind heart” ❤️

Borrowed: I bought this dress second hand from another awesome Celebrant

Blue: The sky!!! It’s a beach wedding today for my fabulous couple and rain has threatened their day all week. I’m so stoked for them that the sun is shining down on them today 🙏☀️🌊

My last wedding for 2023 🫶

I sometimes forget to truly reflect on what it is I’m blessed to be doing as my hobby. Seeing tears of pure love and joy from the Groom or the Bride, seeing their parents and grandparents faces absolutely beaming with pride and adoration, listening to the words the couple say to each other, the belly laughs we share, the woohoo’s, the boohoo’s and cheehoo’s 🙌 It’s such a privilege that I don’t take for granted. Here’s to more loved up couples in 2024 🩷
