I think this Clip was from the Thursday before Mothers Day, late afternoon. More flowers would have arrived in on Friday, not to mention the two fridges and every nook possible holding buckets of something tucked away. There's shelving with pre made gift baskets, a hallway filled with waiting containers ready to grab and use and a fence line that stores our foliage in the cool, keeping it super crisp and fresh - it always feels so FULL to the brim - then it all just goes back out.... amazing really!!

Fair Go tonight - Featuring Bloomex Flowers, an online service that many people have fallen prey too. It’s not the first and certainly won’t be the last. Your money is hard earned and easily spent- to make sure you choosing right I suggest the following.

Please please please do your homework when placing orders online- your orders often carry so many heart felt reasons that can make that a lot more upsetting when it goes wrong.

Please check your florist has an actual location, that they are “local” to where you want to send them. That their website is a New Zealand one. While we can use couriers - we also like to ensure the condition they arrive in is a good one.

Times have changed a lot.
Even using Teleflora or Interflora these days doesn’t mean they are using a florist in the actual area - a lot of us fantastic florists have now separated from these companies - as we prefer to give full value to everyone’s orders. (You do loose a lot in service fees- and so does the florist being a member)

In today’s ways of the world- we often forget to have real conversations!! A quick call to your florist really helps to secure any of those smaller details and chat over available flowers etc. (don’t be afraid to do this. )
We have a lot of owner operator and bloody hard working florists, with a great passion for their industry who are happy to help you!
