Everyday, I am lucky enough to experience the joy and celebration of weddings. Recently, I found out that 12 million girls from the age of ten are forced to get married as children every single year. Discovering this has been absolutely heartbreaking. But there is something we can all do to help stop this. I’ve learnt that empowering a girl through child sponsorship can help prevent child marriage – keeping girls in school, giving them opportunities and helping them to stand up for their rights. And so, I am so proud to be partnering with World Vision to help empower girls everywhere, giving girls the opportunity to choose their own futures.
