I am so busy here on my farm. Fantail Ridge. This seasons vision is an epic one. I grow, I breed, I produce flowers, products from flowers, plants, seeds, tubers and bulbs that are eco friendly based. Permaculture principled at the heart. Local products, nurtured and grown that don’t cost the earth.

Dahlia trial update: this one is amazing and holding her form really nicely. One to breed on for sure. Very long strong straight stems, perfect petals and lovely tones.

Fantail Ridge is already sending Christmas deliveries. We have healing balms, therapy soap, our own flower seeds, dahlia tubers, and flower arrangements. We use all natural ingredients grown on our flower farm. Ask about our amazing lip balm- we’re told it’s the best people have ever used!

Made to order. Fresh edible flower cake decoration and some PetalFetti to sprinkle. I absolutely love the process of meeting clients, hearing their visions, them choosing the flowers from the farm and turning those elements into reality for their event or special occasion.

I am super excited to announce a very special collaboration between Fantail Ridge and Charlotte Buskin. Charlotte is an exceptionally talented NZ artist based in Blenheim. So to kick off people can purchase some of her amazing cards from us here at Fantail Ridge when they purchase flowers for that special person or occasion. There’s more projects we are working on together, so watch this space.

This is what Charlotte says about her incredible work: I am an artist with a passion for creating art that celebrates nature and natural beauty. I especially love painting native birds and plants as they make me feel more connected to the ones I see around me in our beautiful country. Each time I paint one of these incredible birds I grow a bigger appreciation for the wonderful intricacy in their design.

I have always loved art from the time I was a child. Creativity runs in my family, so I have been exposed to artistic people from the day I was born. I have always felt a real need to create in some way or another. The more I did it, the more I loved it. It’s a dream come true to be able to pursue my passion as my job now.
I grew up in Dunedin, and enjoyed putting my work in exhibitions each year from the age of 13. Since then I have moved to sunny Blenheim, where I spend my days painting from home and enjoying the warmer weather.

Passion red mix. One of my favourites. Sprinkle, throw or spread on the honeymoon bed. Light, eco friendly, no sprays, locally grown and created. Each celebration box comes with 5 small boxes of that type of confetti (about a cup of confetti per box) and 5 contrasting organza bags.

LAUNCHING our flower farm is Fantail Ridge set on a hill in Puni, Auckland. All the PetalFetti is grown, processed and packaged here. This is our vintage blue range. We are extremely excited and have spent over a year trialling and developing this product. There’s so much more to come, more flowers and mixes and packaging for all occasions.
