We’re looking for 12 locals to join us for a couple of complimentary “Make Your Own Gin” workshops at The Cargo Collective 🍸

Sessions:
Saturday 11th — 1 pm to 3 pm
Friday 17th — 2 pm to 4 pm

Tomorrow’s session will be our guinea pig round as we test out this brand-new experience — you’ll help us fine-tune it and share your valuable feedback.

The following Friday, things get a bit fancier! We’ll have a photographer (and the Mountain Scene crew) snapping pics while you craft your very own gin.

Both sessions include the full experience: choosing your botanicals, distilling your own gin, designing your own label, and heading home with your very creation.

Meet Our Brewer: Andrew Boulton 🍺✨

Say kia ora to Boulton! Grew up in North Carolina, USA, and studied Chemical Engineering before traveling the world chasing ski seasons—and tasting beers and spirits wherever he went. His years of brewing and distilling experience, including collaborations with breweries worldwide, have given him a vast knowledge of flavours and techniques, and we’re thrilled to have his expertise at Cargo Collective. He joined us to dive deeper into his passion for distillation, experimenting with new flavours and creating bold, Kiwi-approved drinks.

Outside the brewery, Boulton skis backcountry slopes, sails the seas (rum in hand, of course!), and geeks out over the history of spirits. From moonshine in the mountains of North Carolina to gin and beer experiments here in New Zealand, his journey is all about discovering, learning, and sharing the joy of great drinks.
