can pull costume pieces together to make an outfit
sew a fine seam with needle and thread, or machine
enjoy working as part of a team and LOVE customer service
have time for 3 volunteer hours a fortnight/month …………………...

This evening we had this utterly beautiful evening gown dropped off to add to our collection. The beading on it is absolutely beautiful and the blue is such a great colour to set everything sparkling.
We were very busy when it came in and I didn't get a chance to thank the woman properly. She did say 'I hope someone else has as much joy wearing this as I did."
If you're reading this, or know who it might have belonged to please know we are so grateful you've gifted us with such a treasure. We know all who will wear this gorgeous gown will feel very special and full of joy.

  • Our Costume Hire shop is open: Thursday: 4.30 pm - 7:00 pm

  • Nicky and her team are ready and willing to assist you with your costume selection, whether it is for a school theme week, dress-up party or promotions.

  • An extensive selection is available from period costumes, musically themed costumes, military suits, royalty, character costumes, accessories - hats, shoes, jewellery, wigs, gloves etc.

  • As part of our Musical productions, our wardrobe department design and create costumes which then go into our costume hire shop. We have Beauty and the Beast and The Sound of Music costumes for hire to schools and societies for their musical productions.
