Enjoy the beautiful ambience of local musician Carl o Yāng at the next Vines Village Monthly Market on February 19th.

Carl is an alternative indie artist hailing from the small town of Blenheim, who's music is a sanctuary of reflection and invokes a sense of presence and stillness in the listener. Carl performs and sings with his soul and heart, and brings a fresh new perspective to the world of contemporary music.

Carl is currently finishing up his debut EP: RE-generation, set for release late this year. He has been working with a producer from Wellington, NZ, and a multitude of different musicians to complete the project. His 1st single ‘Honey back’ was a powerful debut, with a tasty alternative reggae style, it has already reached well over 10,000 streams on Spotify alone.

Mark your calendars, market enthusiasts! Experience a lively atmosphere with artisanal and locally produced items at the Vines Village Monthly Market on January 15th, starting at 4:30 pm, featuring music by the Silver Beats and special guests from the Marlborough Vintage Car Club.

Established in 1958, the Marlborough Vintage Car Club is a community-focused group of vehicle enthusiasts eager to share their passion with both the local and broader community whenever possible.

The Silver Beats are a local band that plays Folk, Americana, Country, and eclectic songs from the past. The group consists of Kathy Milam, who sings and plays rhythm guitar, Geoff H***e on guitar, Maria Bruyn, who also sings and handles percussion, and Gary Spence on the box drum.

Their songs feature fun lyrics, an easy groove, and sweet harmonies between the two ladies. Special guest Emilie Mackay, an eleven-year-old talented emerging artist, will perform a few numbers on her own. The Silver Beats look forward to seeing you on January 15th at the Vines Village Monthly Market!

⭐ The Marlborough Sounds Chorus - First established in 1998, are an open gender, A Capella chorus who sing four part harmony in the Barbershop style. If you enjoy harmony singing, you will not be disappointed to hear this group.

🎺 Marlborough First Class Brass - is the development band of Marlborough District Brass Band, where young rising musicians learn to work as a team and make music with other musicians before moving up to the senior Band. First Class Brass also serves as a social band for adult musicians of all levels to join together to play music and transfer experience, musical and life skills to the younger members.
