The Stokman venue and country accomodation is the perfect location for weddings, functions or private gatherings.

Nestled on the edge of our working Angus cattle farm and beside the steaming warm waters of Lake Ohakuri, the backdrop is simply stunning. The Stokman venue has a large indoor/outdoor area with ample room for seated dining and a dance floor, as well as a grassed lawn. This incredibly unique location is hired as a venue only, with full kitchen, bathrooms and parking for both buses and private cars. The maximum guests allowed is 120, including all staff.

For those who prefer a little luxury, we have our new pod accommodation — a self contained double pod with ensuite bathroom and a second pod that hosts a double and a set of bunk beds. These two pods have access to a covered outdoor kitchen, complete with BBQ and outdoor table.

The accommodation comes at no cost when booked alongside the Salebarn venue, or it can be hired on its own. It’s the perfect spot for the bride and/or groom to spend some quality time before the big day.

We have a rustic hut that sleeps four in bunks and also has a double bed. The outdoor deck is covered and generous enough for dining and staying both cool in the summer months and dry in the winter months.
